Localisation des nouveaux circuits aux USA

Damien Bcs posted this on LMU’s Facebook page. Which circuits do you think this corresponds to? Would that make sense?

I’ve had a quick look but I can’t necessarily make out everything; Indianapolis and Laguna Seca seem to be on there

Montage d’accessoires GT / Rally

How to manage the race to the finish line with a smile

Hey,

The world of endurance racing can be hostile and challenging; it demands a certain level of physical and mental commitment that it’s important to learn how to manage.

For the long race or the shorter ones. How do you manage to stay focused, keep your eyes on the track, stay calm when emotions threaten to take over, or avoid letting the pressure get to you?

These are skills that can be developed – what advice do you have, what methods do you use, and what are your own little tricks for when your mind starts racing ?

A few questions on the quest for perfection

Hello racers,

I have a few questions about buying a DD base. I know this topic comes up regularly, but I can’t find answers to my more specific questions.

I’m interested in the VRS Udpf20 and the Simucube Pro 2. Both seem to have good reviews, but I was wondering how much it would cost to buy the 9nm base unit and upgrade it to 20nm, rather than buying the 20nm version straight away at full price? You can’t see the price of the upgrade on their website.
I’d like to know if that would work out cheaper or more expensive than the Simucube.

Then I heard about VNM and Simagic. As for the latter, I’m worried about going for something too popular that might actually be a step down, given the overly enthusiastic reviews that could skew my judgement.

I’m more interested in being able to fit a steering wheel from any brand, even a real one (I’ve got a few old Thrustmaster wheels). I know VRS allows that, but for other DD brands, how does it work?

At the moment I have a T300RS with Simsonn Pedals and I’ve heard about the QR system for DD bases; I imagine it’s mandatory and is it included in the price? I don’t know how it works – do I need one for the base and one for each steering wheel?

I know all this is a bit of a mess, but that’s how it is in my head. And I really want to buy something that will last, even if it means paying a bit more. So, thank you for your patience and your answers 🙏🏻

Would you like to have a shot of LMP3 with me?

Hello everyone,

I've seen this topic a lot for LMP2 but not for LMP3, there's also little information on reddit and elsewhere for setup the LMP3

By the way, what percentage of brake pressure do you use for a good compromise between consistency and effective braking?

I tried 100% tonight, but I have to admit I'm struggling a bit with the Ligier and the Duqueine. The Ginetta seems less sensitive to rear-wheel drive but more abrupt when accelerating.

I manage to achieve my best lap times with the Duqueine, but I'm stuck around 102/103% and I feel like my braking is what's letting me down; it affects everything.

I recently changed my pedals for load cell and my pedal plate is warping; I can only get 11kg of pressure out, which doesn't help much with precision, and I'm having a bit of trouble with the pedal stiffness, but I imagine it'll come with time 😂

Finally, when I manage to overcome that, I get knocked out by an unfortunate LMP2 car.

In short, if you have any advice I am all ears and delighted to exchange ideas with you on this beautiful prototype class that is the LMP3 👌🏻

The power of the brain during races

Hello, I have a problem that's causing me trouble; maybe you're experiencing the same thing, I'd really like to know

You make race again and again that your brain is messing with your head and you're starting to lose time on the track?

For example, today at Le Mans Mulsanne I clocked a great 3:44.200, an incredible time for me, as I usually do 3:45. I've done a few races, some respectable, others not at all, and I've noticed I'm losing pace, but unintentionally.

I feel like I'm doing everything the same as before, driving exactly as I did at the beginning of the evening, and yet I end up with lap times in the 1:46 range sometimes. How can I lose 2 seconds a lap without even realizing it? It's driving me crazy! 😂
