Finally breed a Floren from the pond

I was out running errands so used the new walk feature to get it to maturity in less than 30mins. That was the last level 40 frog I was waiting for. Had a triquetra breed successfully within a few days of launch, the paschali about a week after its launch but only got the floren now.

Desert Willow Plants #25215 recall due to sharpshooter

For California only but plants from Tyler, Texas

“We are contacting you because Costco records show that you, or one of your add-on members, purchased desert willow (item #25215) between June 24 – July 3

It has come to our attention that these plants may be infested with the Glassy-Winged Sharpshooter (GWSS). This invasive insect pest can spread harmful plant diseases, including Pierce’s disease, which can kill grapevines. The pest can also damage citrus trees, landscape plants and other crops. Early detection and rapid response are critical to preventing the pest from spreading further.”

”California’s Department of Food and Agriculture said on a Monday call with grape and wine industry professionals that approximately 655 plants from the Texas shipment were sold in the state. The department is working with Costco to notify anyone who may have purchased a plant.“

Santa Clara County goes door-to-door to recover Costco grapevine plants tied to invasive pest

“Approximately 1,300 grapevine plants were shipped to the area from Fresno and Southern California and were subsequently purchased by local Costco shoppers in April and May.

While Costco has successfully recovered about 200 of the plants so far, county officials are not waiting for the remaining customers to return them. Biologists began visiting homes on Monday to physically uproot and retrieve the plants, starting in Gilroy.

Following the collections in Gilroy, crews plan to expand their recovery efforts to San Jose.

When crews visit a home, they remove the grapevine directly if the resident is present. If no one is home, workers leave a notice on the door equipped with bags, ties, and instructions on how to prepare the plant for a follow-up collection within two days.

County officials urge anyone who purchased the grapevine plants but has not yet been contacted to call the Santa Clara County agricultural department immediately.”

Residents should not return, transport or relocate the plant, or place it in the trash or compost bin.”

“Residents who believe they have seen a glassy-winged sharpshooter in their yard should collect the insect and compare it to the photographs at the California Department of Food and Agriculture website.

News: Dior CEO Delphine Arnault says brand is rethinking prices as luxury shoppers push back

https://cnaluxury.channelnewsasia.com/obsessions/dior-delphine-arnault-pricing-luxury-slowdown-293791

“Dior chief executive Delphine Arnault has said the brand is reassessing its approach to pricing on some products as the luxury industry attempts to win back customers put off by precipitous rises.”

”“We are working a lot on the leather offer and we’re very cautious about the prices,” Arnault said at the FT’s Business of Luxury conference in Puglia on Monday (May 18). “We can’t really increase the price of a product without increasing the perception of the quality and the product. It’s important to work on that.”

She noted that Dior had not increased prices on its Lady Dior bag since 2023, except for two currencies that had devalued. Anderson’s first designs for the house were rushed into boutiques on Jan 2 this year — including several lower-priced product offerings — to demonstrate the brand’s new strategy and look.

Price rises at brands including Dior, Louis Vuitton and Chanel in recent years have caused a backlash among some shoppers. Some luxury products are up to 1.7 times more expensive than they were in 2019 according to consultancy Bain, a factor that has caused middle-class shoppers to leave the industry in droves and even deterred some wealthier buyers.“
