Has anyone had OSAP keep rejecting their consumer proposal documents?
OSAP keeps telling me I need documentation that includes:
● The date the consumer proposal was filed.
● The date the consumer proposal was annulled.
● A clear statement that the proposal remains annulled as of today and has not been revived or reinstated.
The problem is I already uploaded Form 14 (Administrator’s Final Statement), Form 56 (Notice of Annulment), and Form 58. From what I can tell, these forms already contain the filing date, the annulment date, and information about the proposal.
I’m confused because they just keep rejecting the documents without telling me exactly what’s missing or whether the forms themselves aren’t enough.
Has anyone else dealt with this? Did you have to get a separate letter from your Licensed Insolvency Trustee, or were the official forms supposed to be enough?
For context, my student loans were never included in the consumer proposal, my OSAP loans are in good standing, and I’m not restricted from receiving OSAP.
Any advice would be really appreciated since OSAP is my only way to pay for school.
