Honest feedback

Hey everyone- I have an interview coming up for a corporate, non claims, remote position. Im looking for some honest feedback on the work life balance, medical benefits, and overall company culture. I guess i just want to know how excited i should get for this interview and if the company overall is good/ bad.

I have a job that pays…enough, but id like to make more (who doesnt?- lol). Im in a very passive job search and am not desperate to leave my current place, but being remote and making a few extra bucks would be nice. Thanks!

Hypomanic episodes

Hello! Newly diagnosed with bipolar II and i now recognize that i am currently in a hypomanic episode. My question is: Now what?

Yes, i recognize it and now this feeling has a name, but im fighting against my usual hypomanic episode ‘habits’.

Nothing dangerous!! I usually/ am currently: -ripping through my apartment like a tornado throwing things away, - having an existential crisis about my career and know i will end up searching for new jobs for hours.

I usually will drive erratically, but i am able to avoid driving for the next week. I also have a tendency to steal while in an episode, but since i think i can avoid the driving, i cant drive to the store to take anything. The small cvs within walking distance to me is a slight draw, but i dont usually go out of my way to steal. Its more of a ‘oh i see it…annnndddd now its in my pocket’

Helpful context: diagnosed in october 2025 after a nervous breakdown, yes i take my medication religiously (lamotrigine and seroquel), i have not shared my diagnosis with my friends or family. I have a psychiatrist and a psychologist, but dont know of i should bother them with this??

Thanks for any tips you can provide!!

Did i just kill my plant?

Hi everyone! I bought a jade plant from Home Depot about five weeks ago. (Its in what i think is a 8 inch wide pot, that is about 6 inches tall (excluding the height of the plant itsself). This plant comes in a grey pot and I'm sure you've seen them on the shelves when you stroll the plant area.)

Anyway- When I got it, the soil was wet and it only fully dried out a few days ago, so I repotted it this weekend.

While removing what I think was coco coir from around the roots, I ended up taking off most of the small feeder roots. The roots closest to the plant still looked healthy, and I didn’t see any signs of rot. I put the plant back into its original container, filled with my own soil mix, but there is still a good amount of coco coir left around the main root ball because I didn’t want to damage it any further.

My main question is: did I seriously damage the plant by removing so many feeder roots and repotting it into a different soil mix? Also, should I be worried about the remaining coco coir causing rot over time, or is it better to leave it alone for now so the plant can recover?

I feel like it should probably also go into a shallower plant because the root ball is only about 3-4 inches deep, but again, afraid to mess with it too much!

Thanks for any help you can give. I’d really like to see this one make it, lol

p.s please don't come at me for buying a plant from a box store. I deserve to enjoy plants in my home and I purchase where my budget currently allows. ❤️
