Two birds with one stone!
My recipient listed several interests, one of which was old comics (including Tintin), and another was space. Though I'm unsure whether this Tintin card is supposed to be a space suit or underwater suit, it looks close enough. And I was really pleased that I still had several older space stamps i could pair with the newer Barbie astronaut stamp! ๐จโ๐๐๐โจ๏ธ

Hey finchie friends! With the curly hair drop I just got from one of the mystery chests I decided I'd do a weird Al look! Sadly, finch has no Accordions, and no Spatulas (IYKYN). What accessory gives the most Weird Al-ish vibe? Random instrument? Tiny briefcase that could maybe be an accordion case? Something I don't have yet? Or just nothing?

Have you ever had funny or strange dream about Joost?
I think about this a lot, how sometimes people of some consequence make an impression on us and infiltrate our dreamstates.
I would like to hear your Joost dreams (but please, NO s*xual or objectifying ones about him as those should be kept to oneself!! Imagine how uncomfortable those could make him feel).

I ended up buying a personalized stamp from Rileyprint (thanks for the suggestion from all of y'all that mentioned that site)! I'm really having a lot of fun combining rubber stamps together on my outgoing cards! (My username is censored out for privacy, but if you ever get a card from me feel free to private message me!)

US ๐บ๐ธ Postcrossers: Where are you ordering personalized rubber stamps from?
I see a lot of folks who have their own personalized small username rubber stamps, where are y'all getting those? Are any of you finding US sources for those? (I have nothing against things produced outside of the US but sadly shipping costs/tariffs are insane and awful right now thanks to current US administration). Venting about an icky message on a card I got today
Generally I consider myself open minded. I like pinups and nudes, naughty jokes, and on my profile I mention my sexual orientation and that I'm polyamorous. I'm not usually easily offended. However, today I got a message on a card that truly offended me.
The content of the message was that he's married but has cheated on his wife with 3 different women that he's met through postcrossing, and then he says "so that makes me a little polyamorous too, huh? ๐" That really shocked me. Like no, no it doesn't. Polyamory involves open and honest communicating. Cheating is lying and hiding things from someone, it's without their consent, and potentially putting them at physical risk. I've never had a postcrosser confess something like this before, and honestly it makes me feel quite sick to my stomach.
I'm on the fence still about whether to report him, as me mentioning details about myself in my profile obviously promted him to tell me what he did. Ugh, this just made me feel so awful to read.

Question for native Dutch speakers
Native Dutch speakers:
My dad says growing up he only every heard "censored cusses" from his parents and their friends. Was this pretty common back in the day, and do people still do this? Or is it only people's really elderly, conservative Omas and Opas that do this?
The main one i remember was "pot verdoorie" or something along those lines. Is "sjee minee" a censored cuss as well? Apologies, i have no idea how these would actually be spelled. Are there any others?
