AMLI Apartment Experience

What has been people's experience with AMLI ran apartments?

The main AMLI locations that my wife and I have focused on are:

- Westside

- Atlantic Station

- Ponce Park

- Arts Center

- Old 4th Ward

We would appreciate any comments or reviews on any of these properties (cleanliness of the property, any rat/bug problems, safety, timeliness of maintenance, staff responsiveness and attitude, etc. ).

Long Distance Movers Recommendations - San Antonio to ATL

Wife and I are looking to pack up our 675 sqft one bedroom apartment and move most of our stuff to ATL.

Our biggest things are Full Size mattress, bed frame, sleeper couch, TV, TV stand, night side tables and six drawer dresser along with all of our other misc stuff (vacuum, clothes, figurines, etc.).

We are looking for recommendations when it comes to long distance movers that can make that move. What was your experience like with who you chose and how much did it cost you?

Nurse moving to ATL | Need Hospital recommendations

My wife is a nurse with a background in inpatient rehabilitation, neurology, and gynecology/oncology. We are moving to ATL in the next couple of months.

She wanted to know:

- What hospitals would people recommend working at?

- What’s the work culture and environment like at the hospitals?

- How is the pay and benefits? And what is the yearly increase?

- What hospitals should she avoid?

- What opportunities are there to grow professionally?

Food Recommendations for all of ATL

Wife and I are visiting Atlanta for the week as we look for apartments before our move. That said, neither of us have ever been to Atlanta so need recommendations for any restaurants that people love.

- We did hear that lemon pepper wings wet is something that ATL is known so we were hoping to get some of that.

- Did want to take my wife to a nice dinner, so any high end dining recommendations would also be appreciated.

- I have heard that yelp and Michelin list is useful but wanted to ask Reddit for the local spots that may not show up on either of those.

End of the day, any recommendations would be super helpful. No need to worry about area or budget as we will be driving around to see all of Atlanta.

Best Neighborhoods in ATL for 30s couple

My wife and I (early - mid 30s) are moving to ATL in the next couple of months. Neither of us have ever been to the city so we are looking for some recommendations on where we should look to live.

Some of our preferences:

- Lively city vibe near restaurants where we could walk to grab dinner at any time

- Somewhere safe to walk around

- Near public transportation

- Walkable to essentials (pharmacy, grocery stores, bank, etc.)

- We have a dog so it would be nice to be somewhere near a park to walk him

- Near the beltline would be an extra bonus but not a must have

No need to worry about budget. I am going to be remote with the occasional commute to the Centennial Park area. Wife will be driving to work (her job is still TBD)

Any recommendations/advice would be much appreciated 😄

Best luxury apartment recommendations

Me and the Missus are looking to move to Chicago.

We are hoping to find an apartment with the following:

- 1BD

- Around or greater than 725 SQFT in a luxury apartment building

- Around $2500 in rent.

- Pet Friendly

- Near an L station (Planning for both of us to take the L to work)

- Wife will work in the River North area and I will work near Millennium Park

- Most likely will need parking (underground/garage would be nice but not dealbreaker)

- Somewhere with a lot of the essentials (grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants etc.).

We are open to all recommendations in terms of apartments we should look at or even areas :)
