Wanted to share my korilakkuma collection ! I’ve been collecting since about 2023 but bought 90% of my collection this past year :,) Definitely cracking down on buying any more koris as i’m mostly content with my collection and I need to make up for all the money spent LOL

Package stuck in customs

I ordered a large shipment from Japan and a few days ago a button appeared on my tracking saying I needed to upload additional documents. I called customer service and they stated I needed to submit documentation of the items manufacturer and address. I submitted it the same day to paperwork@fedex.com and somehow got a message saying there was no open case associated with my tracking number. I called again and was then given the email of a fedex agent assigned to my case. While he didn’t respond, I called today and they said the documents have been received by Fedex as of yesterday.

However, today I got a notification saying my package is stuck in customs. Yesterday, my package had literally been in my state as well (20 mins away) and it was then sent to Memphis.

I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience and if this is in any way normal. I was also wondering what the next steps would be if my package stays in clearance for a prolonged period of time.

international customs clearance problems

I recently ordered a large package from japan (35 items). Upon checking the tracking, it said that additional information was needed to clear customs. However i had received no emails or calls about it.

I called customer service and they said to provide the manufacturer / manufacturer’s address for each item in the package and forward it to paperwork@fedex.com. I sent it out at 1:30 am and received an email at 7:00 am stating there was no case attached to my tracking number ?

After calling the number they provided they said it was odd that happened, since there is in fact a ticket open for my case. They appointed me to a Fedex agent handling my package and i also re-emailed psperwork@fedex.com.

im honestly super nervous about the outcome and also nervous about my agent just not responding.

I was wondering if anyone has gone through anything similar / any advice. I was also wondering what happens in the case that the agent literally never responds (hopefully not but i’ve seen stories about it here)
