Starting Vyvanse for the first time and I’m very very scared
I’m 20 and got diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 7. I took no medication but was put in help classes with an IEP. I’m now going into my 3rd year of college majoring in accounting and man do I need help concentrating. I go to my doctor and tell him what’s up and he prescribes me Vyvanse 30mg. I am VERY against medication but I’m in a spot where I’ve been suffering for years and need a little push just until I get my CPA. I do not need this for longterm.
SO, as I am very very new… I worry allot about side affects of depression and anxiety, that’s one thing I don’t want to happen as it takes some time to recover from.
What should I know about crashes, and how to properly take it. Do you have to take it every day? Are withdrawls that bad? How do you prevent that “feeling” after a crash? And when it comes to food how do you deal with that? And how is the sleep schedule? I know for school I have late classes and might need to stay up later to study at night so…
In whole… do you feel like a different person or do you still feel like the same you, just more focused?
