Hey there, I do some modding stuff for Time Stranger and today I decided to procrastinate from other projects by recreating some of the Dot toys that were made for the Savers line back in the day.

I was able to find useful turnarounds from eBay listings for Falcomon, Lalamon, and Gaomon, and using them was able to (hopefully mostly) 1:1 recreate them with voxels. I also sent the voxel file to another modder (if you mod TS you probably recognize Hyotan's name by now) who was able to get the models I made into the actual game.

I'd like to get all 6 in there and make a modpack of them all, but trying to guess where cubes would be is a nightmare, so if anyone owns any of the remaining three figures it would be super helpful if you could share pics of them and their other sides so I can recreate them.

I can't seem to add image descriptions on mobile, so in order: The three I need turnarounds of (Agumon, Kudamon, Kamemon), Hyotan's screenshot of my Dot Falcomon recreation modded into the game, front and back renders of my voxel models, and finally the reference images of the real life toys

GF (who is an oldhead player) is replaying 6 and it's giving me fond memories of launch. Looked something up and saw someone who was reportedly stuck on Balteus for 2 hours back in the early days and that's just so funny to me, man. Like no shade if someone is new to hard games in general but SOO many people at launch were cocksure hotshots that thought because they beat a few Souls games they'd crush Armored Core.

I swear, someone needs to make a video essay on how Miyazaki is the industry king of Gaslight Girlboss behaviour, because From's Souls games are almost always It Feels Difficult, But Is Actually Designed To Give The Player Back To Back Feelings Of Surmounting The Insurmountable. The missing Gatekeep there is of course the domain of the Souls Fans who got the full Gaslight and didn't realize they're not actually that hard. Which made it all the funnier seeing everyone get walled by my favorite chunky boy missile platform.

I remember the game being new and making a post that was like "this isn't a skill filter, this is a build filter" because so many people still had it in their head that they could go into any mission with any loadout and be fine if they were good enough, not realizing that, lmao, you have to be *really* good for weapon and part usecases to not be make or break.

It's honestly probably a bit lame that I'm always using AC as a vector to make fun of Souls Fans, but I can't help being amused every time I think about it, man. 2 hours to beat Balteus. I know lil bro did not try swapping his damn loadout once.
