I grew up on 4290 and recently got myself the 3940 so I'm biased to this type of ship. After searching this subreddit, it seems like 3550 is considered the best.

Tbh I don't really see this, imo it only has a small cabin and I don't like the stern shape. It reminds me of a medieval trading ship.

Curious to hear someones thoughts on why they like 3550 so much.

Following situation: I ordered something from AliExpress worth around 70€. Unfortunately they choose a pretty unreliable local courier for delivery & my parcel was lost. I paid with PayPal.

According to its tracking number it was delivered, so AliExpress denied my refund claim. I opened a dispute with PayPal and personally contacted the courier company.

The courier company confirmed in an E-mail to me that they lost the parcel. I added the E-mail as proof to my case.

Well, today after over a month of waiting I got the reply that my case was closed & my refund denied. Reason: tracking number says parcel was delivered.

In my opinion this was wrong as I provided clear proof from the courier company that my parcel was lost.

Does anyone have advice for further action?

Hallo, ich hoffe jemand kann mir bei meiner Situation helfen. Ich bestelle ab und an bei Aliexpress. Bis jetzt auch keine Probleme gehabt, da der günstige Preis eventuelle Mängel immer ausgleicht.

Leider wird für den Versand häufig Hermes benutzt. In meinem Wohngebiet gibt es enorme Probleme mit Hermes, da immer wieder Pakete 'verloren gehen'.

Dies war auch bei meiner Bestellung der Fall. Laut Trackingnummer mir an der Haustür zugestellt aber ich war nicht einmal anwesend zum genannten Zeitpunkt. Paket selbstverständlich unauffindbar.

Also gut, Aliexpress Kundenservice mit geringer Hoffnung kontaktiert. Anfrage abgelehnt, laut Trackingnummer kam es zur Lieferung.

Also PayPal (Ware wurde mit PayPal bezahlt) Fall eröffnet und nebenher eine Nachforschung bei Hermes angeschoben. Hermes hat mir dann per Mail den Verlust des Paketes bestätigt. Die Email habe ich meinem PayPal Fall angefügt. Eigentlch, in meinen Augen, eine klare Sache.

Jetzt, nach über einem Monat, die Rückmeldung von PayPal. Antrag auf Rückerstattung abgelehnt, da laut Trackingnummer eine erfolgreiche Zustellung Zustande kam.

Ich habe ehrlich gesagt keine Ahnung was ich noch tun kann. Ein besserer Beweis als die schriftliche Bestätigung von Hermes über den Paketverlust fällt mir nicht ein. Mittlerweile bin ich auch bereit die 70€ einfach als Lehrgeld zu verbuchen, aber vielleicht gibt es noch eine Option? Ich bin für jeden Hinweis dankbar.
