Messaging my ex and his contact pfp disappeared. The message I sent still has double- check marks showing, so im assuming im not blocked? Likely archived, muted, read- receipts off. (But I was thrown off when his pfp suddenly disappeared when I sent my message)
Any insight would be appreciated since we hate this stupid app
I previously posted to get advice, about how I had to break no- contact with my ex due to him still owing me money. I hated breaking it but he knows he has to pay me by September and I hadnt received anything yet.
I tried to prepare myself for the worst, but nothing could have prepared me for how mean he was going to be. Mind you, he broke up with me and I was cordial and business- like in my request.
I dont know why that stings way more....I dont want bad feelings between us, just to move on. He's pissed he still has to deal with me.... so much for him having regrets or missing me at all.
10days no-contact since he ended our 6mo relationship out of the blue. Mercury retrograde was brutal af.
Some context: back in April, I booked a small getaway for us through expedia (easier since it was a package) and he said he'd pay back his half ($500). Ive subtly reminded him over time, even more impatient all of july, but he has yet to give me a dime. Even joked hes out of debt and id give him a look... "except with yooouu, ill get the money soon"
The last thing I said to him on the breakup call, was telling him he had till September to get me my money and a ring of mine he was wearing.
He has not yet initiated sending any money or sending me my ring.
I don't know if I'm blocked... we both have android/ Google messaging. We aren't friends on venmo, but his profile is still visible, our transactions, but not his feed.
I dont want to be a bitch, just trying to get things done amicably so I can move on, I hate that I have to break no contact to get these loose ends tied up. (I have a few receipts, but as a last resort, small claims court)
Should I send a cordial text or just a venmo request? Once again, not sure if im blocked.
