Was I overreacting, or was his reaction immature? And should I message him
I (F20) had been talking to a guy (M26) for about two weeks. Things moved quickly and we agreed to be exclusive while getting to know each other, but we weren’t officially together.
He cancelled our first date because of work. We rescheduled, but the second time he cancelled about two hours before we were supposed to meet, again because of work. I was disappointed and became dry. I had also jokingly said earlier that I’d block him if he cancelled again.
He noticed I was upset and explained that work was out of his control. After I continued being dry, he said “aight bet,” I left him on read and later posted myself on Snapchat. He viewed it, then removed and unfollowed me everywhere.
He’d previously told me that if he feels someone is playing in his face, he cuts them off. It’s been four days with no contact. Did I overreact, did he overreact, or were we both just being immature? And would reaching out to clear the air make it seem like I want him back?
