I'm new to rebet and just submitted a debit card withdrawal for $450.

It said the redemption was successfully processed, so I expected a fair instant deposit. Not the case.

How long does it usually take for you guys? Is it because it's my first redemption?

Without dragging you through a long backstory, my 2024 federal refund was recently (3-5 days ago) returned to the IRS as the 3rd party bank that originally received the deposit was unable to provide a cashier's check to my updated address (they would only send the check to my address on file for the 2024 refund, an address I no longer live at).

The 3rd party bank said they just returned the funds via wire to IRS.

Also to note, in 2024 I filed married/jointly, I am now divorced from the woman I filed with.

What is my next step, here? I filed and received a refund for 2025 (filed head of household), so my updated bank/address info is on file with the IRS, but I have a feeling it won't be as painless as the IRS simply depositing the returned refund automatically to my updated bank info. Also, what involvement /action will be needed from my ex wife, if any? She is aware of the situation, I have every intention of splitting the refund with her.. I'm not trying to cut her out or weasel my way around it, she simply wants me to take point and handle the situation.

This is not a small sum of money, so I'm a bit desperate to get this sorted out. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
