Question about BT auto restart of playing

I want to use my HiBy R4 in my car. I want to plug it in and have it charging. I want to be able to get out of my car, come back and have it wake and return to BT playback. Like a phone...

I wanted to verify this is "normal" and folks have been able to do this.

The question really is, if plugged in, will the R4 remain in a walkable state for BT to reconnect without me touching the R4.

Thanks

Odd track listings from SD card

RESOLVED

Anyone run into this? I have no problem with the track listings from Plex on Symfonium. Exact same files on SD card provide odd behaviors.

I cannot upload photos so here's a description.

Album 1: First track has music note icon. It is a header, not a song. Second track (actual song) has the track number.

Album 2: Every other listing is a header track for the following song.

Album 3: Everything is fine.

Metadata is clean and consistent. No crap in the directory folders. Exact copies from the NAS where Symfonumium is displaying clean data from Plex.

Thanks

HiBy R4 volume control insanity

Just got the HiBy. Have PlexAmp on my phone, works great. Installed on the R4, works great - until you press either of the volume buttons. Every speaker is immediately at full volume no matter if you press up or down volume.

Scared the living *%$#& out of me.

Bug? Known "feature"? F*ked?

New to the club - PlexAmp volume control issue

Just getting setup on my brand new Hiby R4. First thing I did was toss a card in with some music, then install Sonos and PlexAmp apps.

Sonos App allows me to control volume with the physical buttons and with the onscreen slider.

PlexAmp has no such slider and the volume buttons (both) CRANK it if touched while the screen displays Digital Volume Locked.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

is Helmarr the "Pocket" for Lidarr?

RESOLVED and the answer is yes...
------------------

I've installed Helmarr but currently it shows zero items in my library and no connection failures. Different problem to solve. But since I can't use it yet, I'm here to ask if its what I'm looking for.

I'd really like a phone app (iPhone) that allows for adding music to Lidarr as easily as Pocket does for video. Is there something out there I've missed?

Thanks

Q for workers

*** answered thank you all ***

Sorry to interrupt your break.

My kid got a job here in New Orleans at WF. He was asked to come in at the beginning of the week for training. On arrival he was told "the system is down". It's been down every day since.

Is this for real or are they simply politely saying they don't want him after all? I mean, I assume Jeff can get an onboarding system fixed.

Plex reports broken remote access but it ain't broke

So I was looking through my Plex doing some work and I noticed the attached error. Canyouseeme.org reports the correct ports and IP as visible. Both PlexAmp and Plex work on my phone when not on my network. Anyone else get this in the latest update? I'm running server Version 1.43.2.10687 .

Economist broken again?

I've been getting errors for a few weeks it seems. I tried the latest from GitHub which looked to be a couple weeks old.

How to beat T-mobile deal

I too am exhausted by absolutely everything getting more expensive this past year. I’ve taken steps to reduce many of my ever rising subscription fees.

However, I don’t think I can beat T-Mobile. Site currently says only our watches will go up in price. That means for about $135 I will get three unlimited phones, two watches + discounted Apple TV and free (with ads) Hulu and Netflix. We own all our equipment.

It’s those freebies that really make it sticky. Handy for the kid and all that.

Its easy to complain this is not a complaint

Just wanted to say, first trip with our mini and its been 99% a breeze.

Did learn that my 12v power supply worked well at home but not in real life. Inverter works fine. Other than that, I've been pretty lazy about aligning it and just left it in the front window. Game changer when driving and the Mrs wants to do research (no cell service in much of where we are). Makes a little bit of paid work possible. Phone calls to the parents and our kid worked great.

I'm satisfied.

Cannot review video files

OK. I have a Mac, let's start with that. Even when I am able to recover the files from the FAT formatted memory card, nothing wants to play them.

I want to pull them all off the card, reformat, and be able to save what I pulled from the card. I _assume_ I can play them if I have a PC?

Thanks for the help.

UPDATE

Got some good ideas and support here. Thanks so much. I think I have my plan sorted now!

-----------------

For the mods: I live here. This is not a tourist question.

I'm flying out next week for a trip. I have a lot of stuff. A. Lot. Bikes, roof box, etc... Looking for a suggestion on transportation. I don't know that an XL Uber is the right answer. Anyone have some experience with this?

Thanks, your Bywater friend.
