Where can I find the best pizza in the city?

Me and the girlfriend are staying in Quebec City for a night, and we want some traditional Quebec pizza! I was in Trios Rivières two years ago and ordered a pizza from a small restaurant, and it was incredible. Seemed like it was a deep dish pizza with sauce, half an inch of pepperoni, and an absurd amount of cheese on top. Anywhere in Quebec City that does something similar that you guys would recommend?

Thank you!

I’m a photographer starting to dabble into videography. Here’s my first real attempt at putting a video together! Would love some feedback on how I can improve

Glamour shot of the Tikka

I finally got around to taking a studio style shot of my rifle!

A while back someone here asked how to take better photos of their rifle, and I apparently gave bad advice saying you can just use a dslr, tripod, and your phones light to get a nice shot of your rifle. Here’s how it turned out using my phones flashlight as the light source.

Quick little tutorial - set up your rifle and camera in a room where you can have zero light. I used my garage. Have the camera set up on the tripod, and position them so the rifle takes up the majority of the frame in the camera, and as far away from a wall as you can.

With the lights on, set the camera to manual mode, enable the 2 second timer, swap to manual focus, and set the shutter speed to 10 seconds, aperture to F8, ISO to 100. Focus on the rifle (camera should have a magnifying glass icon to digitally zoom in to make sure you’re in focus). Turn the lights off, press the shutter button, and use your phones flashlight to paint the rifle with the light. Here you’ll need to experiment with the light (distance, angle, and how long you expose the rifle to the light. You can increase and decrease the shutter speed to allow for more time if needed. Depending on where you’re doing this, you’ll have the light illuminate stuff in the background. Photoshop can help remove this, by adding in a solid black layer, and brushing out the background. There’s other photo editing software that can accomplish this.

You don’t need fancy lights or an expensive camera setup to do this!

I’m trying to build a DIY target stand for 100-1000+ yards, any suggestions? Here’s what I’ve come up with so far.

I’ve never really built anything like this out of wood, so I’m looking for advice before I start! Ideally the goal is to make a collapsible target stand that two guys can easily walk out and set up. The idea is the legs slide into the feet, and the single 2x4s slide into the legs. Having the option to hang metal targets or staple targets/cardboard to it for closer distances.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: holy hell yall are the best. You guys have gave more info and advice than I found googling diy target stands this week lol

Drawing up plans for a DIY target stand, any suggestions?

Trying to figure out the best way to go about building a target stand for hanging targets and something to staple cardboard/targets to. This is what I came up with.

The idea is, the legs can slide into the feet, and the single 2x4’s can slide into the legs for easy disassembly. Can easily fit in the back of my SUV, and carried out by two people. Distance will be anywhere from 100-1500 yards on crown land.

Anything you guys think I’m missing? I’ve never really built anything with wood like this before lol

I volunteered for a few matches last year and haven’t gotten around to sharing any of the photos. Thought this sub might appreciate a few of my favourites!

Hey folks, I hope you’d be able to point me in the right direction. I’m into long range precision shooting, and I’m looking for a pair of binoculars that won’t break the bank. I’m essentially looking for a pair of binos that I can spot bullet impacts in dirt/steel targets 1000 yards and in. The binos will be mounted to a tripod when using them.

Many of the suggestions in the /r/longrange subreddit are suggesting stuff that’s hard to find in our market, or double the price in CAD.

So, I’m currently looking at Vortex, specifically the diamondback or viper series. Will the diamondback line be “good enough”, or is the viper line really worth the extra coin?

For reference, the Diamondback 15x56 is $569.99 CAD, and Viper 12x50 are going for $859.99 CAD.

Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated, thanks!
