Would it be possible to cover this
Just the seraphim. I really hate the purple. I literally love everything else in this sleeve but the purple just is vile to me. I don’t think it’s possible but I guess it’s worth asking about

Love these dudes. Thinking about what to add next. The middle kinda stumps me. I figured a banner style thing above them would fit nicely
I’ve played guitar for years, and I’ve been working on my voice. Well, trying to anyways. I don’t think it’s good, but I could be being too hard on myself. Opinions? Advise? Thanks yall 🐠 🌞
Lets do another one since I’m off and had the privilege
Well, the synth lizard just keeps surprising me. This one felt less poppy than Butterfly and less bass-head than The Silver Cord. I would argue that the title track might be my favorite KGLW song yet. It had a jammy vibe to it that I loved, but it still felt very Gizz coded instead of being like a clone of Phish or Grateful Dead. It was actually very uniquely Gizz. I loved it. Then it goes into Hate Dancin??? 😮💨😮💨😮💨 No Body? Another great one. The only tracks that didn’t hit as hard (key word: AS HARD) were Exploding Suns and Short Change. 95/100. An absolute banger.
Yall tired of me yet? Too bad. I ain’t going anywhere.
Oddments: I enjoyed this record for starters. I think it might have been a compilation of demos maybe just based on production. It was good though. Crying was probably my favorite, and I wish Pipe Dream would’ve just been an extension to the ending of that song, but hey, we’ll take it. 85/100
Gumboot Soup: Out of all the things I liked about Oddments, it was the fact that it lead me to this absolute masterpiece. I have found my album. This album sounded like the better produced Oddments. If Oddments was a collection of demos and outtakes, Gumboot is what made the finals, and I couldn’t be more pleased. This album is hands down the best KGLW album I’ve listened to. Bar none. It had the vibe of Quarters, but it had more: Beginners Luck? So good. The Chain of Being? My first taste of metal Giz. The Wheel? It made me make a playlist called “The Giz is the Biz”. 10/10, 100%.
Up next, Changes and finally the highly requested Rats’ Nest.

Butterfly 3000 & The Silver Cord
I already know I’m gonna get flamed for this one 😂
For reference, electronic music isn’t my jam at all. I occasionally will listen to ambient like Brian Eno or Tangerine Dream, but these are more poppy-electro feeling (if that’s even a genre??) than 70s deep space MOOG ambient.
Butterfly 3000 was so light, airy, and it felt insanely trippy. On paper, I shouldn’t like this album one bit. I can say Interior People might be the song that officially has made me a lizard man. There were really only 2 songs on the record that I didn’t like a lot (Dreams and Killer Years) 90/100
The Silver Cord / This was kind of like Butterfly’s evil twin in my mind. Where Butterfly felt light, airy, and psychedelic, this was psychedelic but a bad trip. I will say that I liked every song on this—instrumental wise anyways. The rap style vocals bored me. They weren’t everywhere, but they were there. 85/100.
I actually changed this up while typing. At first, I had 3000 sitting at 80 and TSC at 85, but it just didn’t feel right. I’m sure most of these will obviously change and morph as time and listens goes on, but so far these are definitely cracking the top 5. I’m officially a Lizard Boy (or whatever yall call yourselves)
So I’ve looked at their official merch, but what’s some good non-official stuff I could look at? And what is this swarm I hear of? Website links or Instagram links would be appreciated 🙂🦎
This one is definitely up there. 77/100
Gonna keep going.
I knocked out a few albums yesterday, so we’re gonna keep going!
The 4th album I’ve traveled into, and while this is only my first impression of it in which will turn into many more future play throughs, this is my least favorite so far. There were some really chill moments on the album, but a lot of it felt forced at times. I wrote in my note for the album that this release reminded me of “Adult Swim-esque avant garde hellscape jazz”. Which to be fair, isn’t a bad thing on its own, but it just felt forced. I liked all three of the Sketches and Tezeta the most. In similar fashion to Mind Fuzz, I wish the Sketches would’ve just been compiled into one track. I also could’ve done without the minute and a half instrumentals. 55%\100. The sound has potential. Just a swing and a miss in my opinion.
Fishies up next! 🎣
This is the equivalence of Quarters for me, but if it was unplugged, and the songs are more approachable for your standard run of the mill person. I absolutely loved this record and only a song or two didn’t really vibe with me hardcore. I’m gonna say for me, that’s a solid 10/12, 83%\100
Loved it.
Hey everyone! I think I’m going to keep this a thing just so I can keep track of my listening journey. I went through a few albums today, and next up after Fuzz was Quarters! This record had a super chill psychedelic feel to it, and I loved it. The River was probably the stand out track to me, but upon first listen? 4/4, 100%. I genuinely loved this record.
Hey everyone! This is the album I decided to go with, and I’m definitely gonna keep going. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Mind Fuzz Suite, but the rest of the album was great! Super 60s feeling, and all in all it was fun ✌️ I’ll keep everyone updated on my journey if yall dig that
Hey guys! My first post ever on Reddit, so not sure how this works really….anyways
IM READY FOR THE KGLW!! My question is should I go in chronological order, use the website called Get into Gizz, or should I use this flowchart I found on Google?? I work at a brewery, and we did a beer for KG last summer, and I just really wanna check these dudes out ✌️ Thanks!
