The idea is simple: fill in the missing gaps and complete as many words as you can in 60 seconds. Every correct word adds another 5 seconds to the clock.

It’s been a fun project to build, and after more tweaks than I’d like to admit, I’ve finally built up the courage to put it out there.

I’ve just finished re-building my daily word game, LetterStreak! It’s a very simple and easy to play game, where the aim of the game is to fill in as many words as possible within 60s! But for each correct answer you get an extra 5s!

Everyone gets the same puzzle each day, and there’s leaderboards and achievements!

So I’ve been playing this game since launch and have only stuck to Career Mode. For the first few months, I went with a create-your-own-club setup, starting in League Two on Professional difficulty. I worked my way up to the Championship before realising it was boring and quite easy — for example, 67-rated players outpacing Man City in cup games, with no issues in speed or passing.

Recently, though, I started a new Career Mode with Arsenal on World Class difficulty, and honestly, it’s a pile of hot shit. Going from 60–70 rated players to world-class players like Saka and Ødegaard, and they can’t even sprint or make a simple pass. The AI is ridiculous — intercepting every pass, constantly making runs, and pressing high regardless of the team. It’s honestly a mess how increasing the difficulty by one level completely changes the dynamic of the game.

I don’t mind the AI being good defensively, but when I’ve got a fully fit Saka on the wing who can barely sprint or complete a pass, it just makes no sense.
Same with my defenders — I’m literally aiming where I want the ball to go, and they just pass it straight to the opposition. Yet with my League Two side against a Premier League team, I had no issues at all.
Does anyone have any idea why this happens? I’ve heard simulation mode can have some issues, but I was playing from the start with League Two and didn’t notice anything like this.

It just feels really buggy and not fun at all. I’m bored of watching the opposition pass it around the back flawlessly, even when they’re losing. It really makes me miss the PES 2021 days — the last genuinely decent football game.

I think this might be my last FIFA. I didn’t get EAFC 25, and only picked this one up because of their marketing about how they’d “fixed” things and listened to players. “Passing fixed” — absolutely not. “Goalkeepers fixed” — nope.

They’re scam artists.
