Lexus ES350 taillight and bumper installation issue
Long story short, someone hit my parked car on the side of the street while I was inside, no idea or clue as to who it was so I couldn’t file w/ insurance.
I went the cheap route, bought used OEM tail light and bumper and had a local body man paint/install everything.
Obviously he didn’t do the best job, as evident by this fat ass gap between the tail light and bumper.
My question is, is this due to improper/careless installation? Missing components/clips? Bad parts or improper reframing of the buckled quarter panel?
Obviously he had to have seen that space but decided to not address it for whatever reason.
If I remove the bumper and tail light and reinstall them w/ any missing or damaged clips would that flush the parts together and get rid of that space , or should I consult with another body man to reframe the QP and any part that was bent out of place?
