Repot & Separate?

Was given this beauty yesterday and the former owner said she needed to be separated into three and reported. Any tips on how to do that? It looks like there are three distinct areas where stems are coming from (pics 3-5). Realizing that this plant is very delicate as I broke a few stems trying to lift up the leaves to look at the center 😬

Since bringing her home I’ve removed the spent and fading flowers and given her a bottom watering. Other care tips are welcome and appreciated!!

P.S. - will keep her indoors. Just went outside to get better photos.

What do to with my tiny black and white bathroom

Hello friends! Have been putting off this bathroom project for a while now, and thought I would ask you all for input/ideas! This black and white bathroom doesn’t match my style. The rest of my house is bright and fun and hopefully warm and inviting. Think mustard yellow accent wall, olive green velvet couch, lots of brass and plants galore.

I would like to keep the black and white tile because a full remodel seems wasteful. Even though the black and white isn’t 100% my style it’s still pretty and I think I could make it more me with a few tweaks. What do you all suggest??

I’m quite open to others thoughts and creativity. Thanks in advance!

Buckle up kids, our boi David Brooks is coming in hot.

Political punditry is so passé. Moral commentary and low key stalking former employees is what this country needs!

“Snyder, who is 23 years younger than Brooks, was his research assistant on The Road to Character, hired while he was married to Sarah. He says the relationship remained purely professional during the period when he was still married. When he later made his feelings clear, Snyder rebuffed him, left DC, and cut off communication.

Still, Brooks pursued her, planting messages for her in his Times columns. Eventually, his efforts paid off. They married in 2017.”

Spots on New Meyer Lemon Tree

Hi there - I got this tree about a month ago and planted it into well draining soil. Just noticed these brown spots on a few of the leaves (~5 or 6). I have not fertilized yet, but am planning to very soon. I live in zone 7b and there is a decent amount of sun and humidity. When I first got it, I watered it deeply every three days to get it to establish roots for the first two weeks. Now I only water weekly, but the soil gets quite dry. 3rd pic is from when I had to bring it inside for a few days last week because it rained buckets several days in a row. It’s been back outside for about 5 days. Last pic is when I got it.

Any ideas about what I should do?

Got this plant ~18 months ago before I knew anything about plants. We had a self watering pot laying around so I popped it in there and called it a day. Since then I’ve learned that that’s possibly the worst thing you can do for it and to be fair its soil has been consistently moist. In spite of this, the plant has somehow still managed to grow quite a bit.

What do you all think I should do? I’m honestly scared to take it out of the pot and face the likely root rot 😢

First two pics are from today. Last two are from the day I got it.
