Tips regarding a Crusader Knights Conversion

Hello! I've been working towards kitbashing a few Crusader Knights from a box of Knights of the Realm on Foot but I am struggling a little with the thematical flavour and unit types I should make. For example, should they have guns or sidearms and if so how many, how much WW1 flavor vs Crusader Knight flavor should I try and aim for mm.

So far I was thinking of making it a small warband with maybe 6 units, dividing them into:

Grand Master (Leader Unit, Melee Heavy Infantry), Probably with a pistol sidearm.

2x Crusader Knights (Melee Heavy Infantry), Perhaps Pistol Sidearm or proper firearms?

1x Chaplain (Priestly Unit/Healer), Definately some kind of firearm.

2x Knight Brothers (Heavy Cavalry) I know Cavalry isnt really a thing but I invision them to fill a similar role to a Mechanized Heavy Infantry in size and role.

I was also playing around with the idea of Gunspears as weapon choice for them but I hesitate since it might be a bit to wierd.

Deeply thankful for any replies or insight into this matter! I really look forward to getting to work with this project, I love Trench Crusade and it has really reawakened my joy for the miniature hobby!

I don't want to spam but Hellsing Abridged is just the right kind of absurd for Trench Crusade imao

"Wootrai Outskirts" Became very inspired by a Sidequest my players ended up on so got carried away designing battlemaps for 3 potential scenarios! High possability that they will never be used!

My players have been hired by The Chief of Wootai to solve the death of their village Shaman who expired under mysterious circumstances. A deeply disliked member of the community as he was narrow minded, irritable and a general piece of work. With several tribesmen as likely suspects my players will have to search for clues in and around the entire village to find the true culprit.
