Trip to Småland, Sweden - A Cherished Visit

Hello everyone!

This trip to a part of Småland is part of my fondest memories, and I'd like to share it here with everyone. I had spent over a week in this place, with one of my best friends for over a decade and counting.

It was a trip during the Swedish summer - with long, bright, and sunny days. I was lodged in his summer home in Småland.

We were able to cycle, hike, visit local farms and produce, and for most days, prepare and cook our own meals. For most dinners, we sat outside on the porch as the sun was still up.

One of the waffles you see in the photos is called potatisvåfflor, a type of waffle with potatoes as the filling. Its one of the best I've ever had, as they used freshly farmed local potatoes to make them. I uploaded on shot of the potatoes that were freshly harvested from the earth in here too.

The lake you see in the images is the Vensjön lake, and some of the really beautiful views of the hike was on the mountain called Stora Hammarsjön.

While there aren't the stunning tourist or well known spots, the tranquility, peace, and bonding over the summer with a long-time friend of mine, together with the stunning weather, made for a most incredible trip.

́́The photos of the interior of the house is kept private, for good reason.

I hope everyone here can share in these photos. Enjoy! Happy to answer any questions you may have.

Visiting Kigali - Wish to understand the areas of this city!

Hello everyone!

I would be visiting Kigali in a few months, but I intend to spend proper time exploring the city.

Can locals here help with a simple breakdown of the residential districts in Kigali? When I travel I always like to see how different income groups live in a city, it's ultra fascinating.

Rather than just visiting the tourist area and visiting the beautiful nature, I always carve out good time to explore the city in a more in depth way. Thank you!

Wholesome Sri Lankan Meal - Basmati Rice, Mango Curry, Lentils, Beetroot, Okra

Sri Lankan food is often underrated - since its overshadowed by her larger neighbour India, and there is simply not as large in population to have that disapora.

Yet, it is so, so wonderful, with its burst of flavours, mixture of spices, and unique dishes like beetroot on the left, and mango curry on the top centre as classic standout Sri Lankan dishes. Got this at a humble shop, serving on banana leaf. Absolutely satisfying meal, both taste wise and visually with the myriad of colours dancing in front of your eyes :)

Please try proper Sri Lankan food if anyone of you get a chance to!

Marina Bay Area, Singapore Nightsky Cityscape

This is quite a unique, almost panoramic view of Singapore's famous cityscape, as I took this shot in area that could only be accessed privately. It's not open to the public, and I get full uninterrupted views across the water. Enjoy :)!

Still Loving one of my OGs - Acoustune 1695 Ti Limited Edition

Mine is definitely showing its age externally, where the gold coated full copper cable has some oxidisation on it. Nonetheless, it is still one of my most memorable piece of IEM, one which I still own :)

If memory serves me right, probably got it back in 2020. Six years later, its still the best 1 DD IEM I have.

MA Infinitum - A Real Contender For A New Benchmark Among Flagship Headphones

Every once in a while, a product comes and it really takes flagships to a new level. For years, people have always mentioned the HiFiman Susvara, and rightly so.

Then comes Melodic Artification's Infinitum, which comes together with it's dedicated amp. Although I'm not quite a fan of having an amp packaged with it, I can understand the manufacturer's intention on trying to ensure the headphones are listened to at least with enough juice.

Sound signature of the Infinitum right out of the box is surreal. It actually is the world's first beryllium diaphragm planar magnetic drivers (Focal's Utopia isn't planar) We all know how difficult it is to secure high grade beryllium, and to have it used this way is an engineering feat.

It's bass is tight, full bodied, with the slam yet never feels muddy. Transient response is really fast even on very complex tracks, and the headphone never really struggles on any track I've tested. Onto the mids, high mids and to the treble. It's representation can be best described as having a tinge of sparkle, with a nice touch of timbre and never shouty.

This is an impressive contender. Only negative feedback - and could actually be a deal breaker for some, is that the headband is slightly wide. Hence, for those with a narrower and longer head shape, wearing this isn't comfortable. The weight drops mostly to your ears, so it's no longer quite good for long listening.

Hence, I highly suggest anyone wanting this to be able to try it on first and test out it's weight distribution. Thanks, and happy to reply to any questions everyone might have! My reddit account is new as it's my first foray here. Hope this post passes moderators!

New to Reddit - Tips on What to Avoid To Prevent Autoremovals?

Hello everyone!

I'm new to Reddit, and my friends mentioned I should wait a few days before I attempt to post on many subreddits. I do read before I join any subreddit, but many do not specify if your account needs to be over certain days or have x karma points to post, otherwise it gets removed automatically.

I'm a bit confused on this, and wanted to ask if there is anything that I'm not aware of? Thank you for your help everyone :)

Bread Bazaar at Chigatai - Which are your favourites?

Hello everyone! I've heard a lot about the bread bazaar at Chigatai in Tashkent, and I'm seriously looking forward to it.

However, I have limited stomach space haha. So, I wanted to ask, just as a personal opinion/experience - do any of you have a particular favourite vendor to buy from, and why? It could be any reason, just would like to hear from actual local experiences :) Thank you so much in advance!
