I found an endoscope thingy at a local thrift store. It looked new, so I figured I'd try it out with the Mosin and the M95 Steyr-Mannlicher. This is the Mosin bore. The 'scope works... OK.
I thought I posted this here a while back, but, in looking, found that I only posted the pics I used in the article, not the article itself, so here it is. I hope it helps someone.
I keep trying to post this report, and it says "If you're looking for an image, it was probably deleted." Too big? It's here if you're interested: https://smith-sights.com/rimfire-bedding.php
I made this article in PNG format so you can save it if you find it helpful:
Hello,
I was ordering parts today and came across this dude making front sights for the M39. They fill a small need that I haven't been able to yet, so I figured I'd pass on the link:

I dig what he's done, and might just buy one of his 1911 front sights since my Tritium sight is about nine years old now and growing dim.
I have no firsthand experience with the dude or his products, but they look good.
Regards,
Josh
I was going through my photos and found this one I took ~2008. Gene Roddenberry apparently used the 1911's angles for the Type 2 hand phaser 😁
