New to RBR, what do I need to know?

Hey r/simrally! I got into RBR yesterday, had no prior rally experience except BeamNG and rallycross on iRacing, so I'm new to rally. I drive MX5, Beetle Lite and GT3 on iRacing, found the Escort a pretty comfortable car for me. I'm pretty unconfident now, struggling to keep the car on the road, what do I do? What stages do I drive to get in the hang of the car? Also my brake is constantly hovering at 1%, and my throttle only goes up to 98%. The feedback is absent, only resistance. Any fix? 

Hardware: Fanatec CSL DD + 8nm Boost Kit, SIMSONN Plus X, and a Simjack HE002 handbrake. Thanks in advance for help, pls no hate

Finally got my XZ1 Compact, and I ain't coming back to bloated slabs no more.

The camera is lovely, the features too, I love this little thing, however I will need to replace the battery. Had a Poco M4 Pro, and it is my first ever Xperia, and I must say it is an upgrade! The form-factor is lovely too, Sony really cooked with this one. I was lucky to get the G8441, got it from a local pawn shop. The condition is actually really good! Before setting everything up I did a hard-reset. Truly one of its kind. With great performance too.
