Hello everyone, last week I bought 2026 Hyundai Tucson ultimate with grey interior ans just wondering how you guys are maintaining seats any leather products you use ? What you recommend for maintaining?
I booked a Tucson Ultimate two weeks ago and was supposed to take delivery last week, but now I’ve been told it could take several more weeks with no clear timeline. They’re also refusing to return my deposit if I cancel the deal.
Does anyone from Hyundai sales or service know when the repairs will begin for this recall or anything heard ? My vehicle is stuck due to this recall. Please help! 🙏🏻 from Canada!

I’m from Ontario, Canada. I booked a new 2026 Hyundai Tucson Ultimate Hybrid on April 25 and put down a $1,000 deposit. The pickup was supposed to be April 28.
One day before delivery, the dealer called and said the vehicle has 2 recalls that need to be fixed before they can deliver it. They also said Hyundai hasn’t provided a repair solution yet for one of the recalls, so they don’t know if it’ll take days or weeks.
The dealer told me that Hyundai Tucson Hybrids across Canada currently can’t be sold/delivered until the recall issue is resolved.
I’m not sure if they’re being honest or just delaying things. I also don’t want to end up buying a defective vehicle 😫
Has anyone else experienced this recently or in the past with Hyundai recalls? Is this normal?
Also, the dealer said I can’t cancel the deal even though I already put down the $1k deposit. What options do I have in this situation?
