Rectocele and not able to go to toilet

I have a rectocele, unsure of stage as dr didnt say, but i imagine it has now gone up another one. I am very upset as my bowel is obviously very diverted, it is bulging out a lot and I have tried but I can't have a bowel movement and it has been afew days. I have PTSD and having fingers inside my vagina causes a lot of distress, I am sobbing now after trying to splint. Also I am heavily on my period and it's even more difficult. Do you think I need to phone my dr or is there anything else that can be done without splinting? Will I be making it worse by not trying harder? I just don't think I can do it.

I am also just so very angry that the drs and midwives went against my wishes 4 years ago and made me labour for over 3 days and used forceps that I do not feel i gave permission for, and they have just completely wrecked my body. I feel like my body was stolen from me without my consent, and I knew something was wrong with my pf but was gaslit to make me feel like it was normal, that it was all in my head.

Edited to add that I tried again but I couldnt get splinting to work, but I could feel that my bladder is also prolapsed. So decided to go back to my GP. This sucks.

(SPOILERS!!!) CC similarities to a well known TV series

SPOILERS! Do not read further unless you have read books 1 and 2 of Crescent City!!!

So I have just started book 3, was such a fun surprise I managed to avoid spoiling for myself. Very much enjoying this series.

I am also watching Dr Who series 1 (Christopher Eccleston) and observed the following similarities.

  1. Rose Tyler if written as a main character could have been Bryce, Dr Who as an older romantic interest could have been Hunt..?

  2. Episode 7:The Long Game. Is really really similar to what I believe is happening at this point in CC.

I recommend watching Dr Who if you haven't seen it. I wonder if SJM is a fan, I hope so!

Post-partum ribs sticking out

Has anyone experienced ribs that refuse to go back to where they were before being pregnant? I am 4 years post partum,my ribs on my left side stick out like an inch more than my right. My bra size went from a 32 band to a 36 band and hasn't gone down. My ribs have always popped in and out throughout my life but they seem stuck like this.

I am wondering if this is why my stomach muscles have never felt like they have knitted back together to where they were before, my insides and pelvic area wobble around like blancmange despite regular exercise, kegels and core strengthening, and now I have a partial prolapse.

Rectocene

Hi, I have just been diagnosed with rectocene by my GP. I have PTSD from traumatic birth a few years ago so this was a very difficult appointment, but I am glad I did it and that I was right to get checked.

Now, because this has happened at some point since having a baby (I don't know how long I have had it tbh but at least 6 months), it is being treated as a result of a traumatic vaginal birth. But I am hypermobile, and suspecting EDS (and the whole trifecta tbh). I am being referred to physical therapy, does anyone know if the PT treatment would be suitable for HSD as well as if I have been referred as someone without HSD? Just curious if anyone has experienced this.

Can MCAS vary in severity?

Hi, I have been here for a bit not particupating but reading up on MCAS as I feel that it may explain some stuff. Honestly, I am scared to go to my GP suggesting MCAS because I already got dismissed for bringing up lipoedema (that I definitely have), HSD (which I am wondering could actually be hEDS but again, scared to bring it up, and possibly POTS)... my concern is that if I have these I definitely have them mildly, I suffer some inconveniences/embarrassment/discomfort. But definitely not affecting my ability to work or as extreme as some things I have read on here which I can't even imagine how tough you must be to have to deal with that day in day out!

Do you mind if I run some stuff by you guys? If this is against the rules I will delete!

A bit about me:

My entire life I have been a highly allergic person. Grass especially blows up my face and skin with hives and makes me tired and dysregulated, but all animal fur does it. I have had lifelong asthma attacks, albeit rarely, that are usually triggered by pollen i think but hairspray did once give me a bad attack. I have painful IBS that is most days, with some known food triggers and definitely stress triggers, but also seems random and unknown why I am getting it. I have always had dermatographia, it was a fun game as a child. In times of high stress my skin has been covered in itchy rashes. Antihistamines help but not completely. I get brain fog which is getting worse. Lifelong insomnia. "Colic" as a baby. I recently got diagnised highly masking autistic. I get faint when I am stressed and have fainted when having blood drawn or witnessing someone get hurt.
