Best anime thrift find I’ve ever had!

I was seriously eyeing up this exact set a month ago but decided to grab a game instead. Feels like fate!

Does anyone know where I can find a cheaper and authentic set of the original dragon ball series DVDs?

I see them going for around $150-200 on eBay, but I was wondering if there was another distributor that had them for a better price and confirmed authentic (they’re commonly referred to as the ‘blue brick’ release). I would definitely appreciate any help, thanks!

Already having a tough time finding physical copies of new PS5 games. Stopped at 7 different stores on my road trip home and only found 1 copy left at the most isolated Walmart.

At least we get a new MGS4 port before the end of physical releases :/

Is Gothic Classic complete on disc (PS5)?

Has anyone with an early copy been able to verify weather or not the classic release will need an online update to be playable?

I assume it wouldn’t be like the remake, but I‘d like to make sure before buying.

This is why I always hang onto older copies of games. The new release of Darkwood has multiple bugs that make the disc unplayable without an update 👎

I missed out on a few PS3 games from my wishlist because of the Sony news, but I still managed to grab this one quick enough ✌️

What is the RAREST and simultaneously CHEAPEST piece in your collection?

Sometimes scarcity doesn’t translate into value, but it doesn’t make these releases any less interesting to me. I thought it’d be neat if people here shared a part of their collection that doesn’t normally get a spotlight, something both uncommon to come across and very affordable.

I’ll start with one from my collection. This is the 2017 Sentai release of Green Legend Ran, one of my favorite childhood OVAs. It‘s pretty uncommon but very affordable whenever it does finally come up for sale. And definitely worth keeping an eye out for if you‘re a fan of interesting Sci-Fi with great animation!

Finally nabbed my favorite movie in blu-ray! Now I’ll just wait for the 4K release, should be any day now…

Very thankful I picked this one up a while back, especially now that Kaiji is getting pulled from a bunch of streaming sites :/

Snagged the first two Dungeon Meshi blu-ray sets for a really great deal, but I was heartbroken to learn there’s no English subtitles option :(

The Eighty Six anime series is getting pulled from streaming in multiple countries. I’m still seeing decent prices on the Blu-rays from places like Amazon and eBay but they’re selling out quick…
