2 months ago, despite constant work trainings about scams and unsafe websites, I stupidly used a fake passport website. I got up to just before the payment before I realized something wasn't right,(too easy) but by then my ssn was submitted...
I froze my account at the three credit bureaus and for at least a month I have been getting numerous phone calls about getting approved for loans, as of i spike to someone and have been actively replying.
Does anyone know if the calls are related to me submitting my info to the scamming site? The calls seem to happen constantly so I'm afraid of unfreezing to apply for a new credit card.
Any advice is much appreciated!!
