The Lofts at Narrow smells

I went to visit a friend and was hit with that awful smell right when I walked in. It smells like some kind of oil. I got nauseated and a bad headache within 10 minutes. I stayed to taste it in my mouth too. I had to leave.

I remember years ago someone told me that oil was seeping in under the epoxy on the floors because they did a shoddy job (no surprise as Metropolitan owns it).

But for anyone who lives there.. are ya’ll okay?!

Public charging

Howdy! New Bolt owner with question on public charging since I’m new to this..

My garage charger won’t be ready for a few weeks so I must public charge for now.. when should I look to charge? I assume it’s slow at a public charger so I shouldnt wait too long? There are a lot of chargers in my area and I’m not sure what to look for in one. Most don’t display price.. how do you decide where to charge? What do you do while charging? Drop car off and pick up later? Sit in car and read or something? Walk around?

New Bolt Owner!

I bought my first electric car today! A 2022 EUV LT for 19k with 35k miles. I’m so excited!

What do I need to know? I’m a new electric car owner. I’m going to install a 240 in my garage to charge.

Tips? Tricks? Anything I need to buy for it?

3 weeks in Scotland!

Our trip is coming up in about 45 days. I have my itinerary finalized but haven’t planned anything to do yet where we are.. I’d love suggestions on the best things to see and do in each place!

We are renting a car after Edinburgh and driving ourselves around. I did hope to do some tours while in Edinburgh maybe out to St Andrew’s? Or taking a train up to Stirling?

Edinburgh - 5 days
Ballater - 5 days
Isle of Skye - 5 days
Glencoe - 3 days
Glasgow - 3 days

If I should be stopping anywhere on the way, I’d love to know that too!

Thank you!!

Wish me luck!

So far the squirrels are 5/0 in our battles. BUT I think this pvc pipe might be the answer! Stay tuned..

Same Birds?

I’ve had my feeders up for about 2 months. I live in a suburban neighborhood. So far I’ve only seen finches, sparrows, robins, catbirds, cardinals, and starlings & grackles.

Should I just assume these are the only birds local to me?

It seems like most of them I’ve read are invasive and are bullies (except the cardinals and robins).

What kind of birds should I be trying to attract?
