I can't believe they'd really just reduce limits by 84% like this. Utter insanity.

I'm a Heavy Grok user and I can burn through my weekly limit in less than an hour.

I won on turn 3 with 2 spells played. Does this seem like good game design?

Turn 1, land. Turn 2, play Tifa. Turn 3, fetchland brings Tifa to 4 power, play Entish Restoration fetching 3 lands, one shot my opponent. It was a 2 card combo from the command zone. With Chrome Mox I could have pulled this off turn 2. Personally, I think Tifa might be a little too fast and easy to assemble combos with. How does the "competitive" community feel about one shotting your opponent with two spells played the entire match?

The back and forth on moderation is really aggravating

Your prompt works today, it stops working tomorrow, then it works again the next day, then it stops working again. Can you cut the bullshit PLEASE?

Competitive is going to be a joke format until they actually start banning cards

There's nothing competitive about playing coin flipping simulator. Most matches are decided by insanely broken cards like Channel and Force of Will. It's literally just RNG of who drew the better cards at this point. Or who drew the most free spells. Or who did a vamp tutor into tainted pact combo. There's very little opportunity for skill to matter when people are winning on turn 3, especially when you're on the draw. As you can see by the tier list, the top 5 decks all have blue because the free counterspells are so powerful. I'm playing a Namor deck myself and most matches come down to who drew the most free spells. If I got free counterspells, I win. If they got free spells, they win. I can't take this format seriously at all. To name it "Competitive" Brawl is insulting.

Is there a way to tell if you're on the daily or weekly system?

I've still been on the daily system but I'm afraid of getting switched and blowing through my whole limit without realizing.

Blue has a death grip on this format in both casual and ranked

90% of decks in casual and ranked have blue in them. Whether it's the free counterspells, the cheap counterspells, infinite turns, infinite card draw, Thoracle combo, asymmetric board wipes, the bounces, the auras, the clones, stealing permanents, every tool they have access to is 10x more powerful than anything the other colors can bring to the table.

It's gotten so bad that I've started playing blue after 20 years of avoiding it because I didn't want to play the easy cheesy way. And guess what? The only thing I lose to is other decks with blue in them. It's just a joke at this point. I don't know what tricks the blue dev is pulling over at WOTC but when they're at design meetings the green dev is saying, "Okay, and let's make a green card that gives a +1/+1 counter" and the white dev is saying, "Let's make a white card that gives a 1/1 creature token" and the blue dev chimes in, "LET'S MAKE A BLUE CARD THAT JUST WINS THE GAME AUTOMATICALLY AND HAS NO COUNTERPLAY AND NOBODY CAN DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT AND IT DRAWS 50 CARDS AND BOUNCES YOUR ENTIRE BOARD AND MAKES ALL MY CARDS FREE FOR THE REST OF THE GAME!!!"

If WOTC doesn't want this format to be a perpetual joke, they need to make the following changes IMMEDIATELY:

Ban list:

Force of Will

Daze

Force of Negation

Subtlety

Commandeer

Pact of Negation

Wash Away

Mana Drain

Swan Song

Strix Serenade

River's Rebuke

Cyclonic Rift

Time Warp

Temporal Manipulation

Temporal Trespass

Treasure Cruise

Dig Through Time

Emry, Lurker of the Loch

Katara, Waterbending Master

Teferi, Hero of Dominaria

Nashi, Illusion Gadgeteer

Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy

Baral, Chief of Compliance

My dad is giving away my grandma's 400K home to his friend for 15K

My uncle has been living with my grandma since my grandpa died and apparently my uncle has been lying about paying the mortgage for the last two years. They got a letter saying they had to pay 15K or the house would go to auction. So this "family friend" swooped in and said she'd pay the 15K in exchange for getting the home when my grandma dies. The market value of the home is 400K with only 40K left on the mortgage. My dad goes, "Well, we're going to lose the home anyway, so we don't have a choice." He calls me to complain about the situation and I immediately told him I will give him the 15K to pay her back and keep the home in the family. He said they haven't signed anything and there's no written contract in place.

He tells me he talked to her about paying her back and she got mad and accused him of only caring about the inheritance(NO SHIT???). He says he can't "just pay her back" because she's been a lifelong friend and he doesn't want to cause a rift in their friendship. He said she was really excited to give the home to her daughter when my grandma dies. I'm not too stressed about the whole situation because my dad is the kind of idiot that would sell the house and burn through the whole 400K without leaving a penny to any of his children when he dies. But it is grinding my gears a little that the house my grandparents spent their whole life paying for is being stolen out from under them by a "friend". He's cutting out my uncle, which means his niece and nephew will never receive any inheritance. But my uncle is also the kind of person that would burn through all the money.

Maybe it's best that it goes to this "friend" after all. Instead of seeing an entire legacy wasted by two bums that would piss it away on drugs and booze.

If I spam 20 videos at once, how is it possible that half will get instantly moderated, yet half might go through?

If the prompt is getting instantly blocked because it contains filtered words, why is it letting the other half go through? If it's not caused by the prompt, how does the video generation instantly know to block the video? Is the processing really so fast that it goes through the whole video and knows that it needs to be blocked before I can blink? I guess that's actually not so hard to believe considering Grok can spit out essays in a matter of seconds. It's just so frustrating that Grok can be like, "This is bad! Wait it's fine! Wait it's bad! Wait it's okay!" Make up your mind!!!

The censorship is so dumb. "She crawls" is getting blocked 95% of the time in T2V mode.

I have 3 Heavy Grok accounts (3 subs I already canceled) so I typically run each prompt 10-20 times because Grok's braindead moderation will usually let stuff through if I brute force it enough times. I created a totally new imaginary character in T2V and I'm getting blocked on "She crawls towards the camera", "She crawls on the ground", and even a simple prompt of nothing but "She crawls". ANYTHING THAT'S ALLOWED IN AN R RATED MOVIE, HUH?

Grok will never be what we want it to be. They're tightening moderation on a daily basis.

Abandon all hope. Grok is actively moving in the opposite direction of what we want. It was good while it lasted, but it's not coming back. We have to accept that religion and the government don't want us to have this technology. I can't stand it, it fills me with anger and despair, but we can't do anything to change it. AI porn is the greatest thing that I've ever experienced in my life and it's been taken from us due to pearl clutching moral panic. We got a taste of the apple and now we've been cast out from Eden.

Losing patience with moderation and blowing through my rate limit

I'm so frustrated with the moderation I end up queueing 10 videos at a time, then if that doesn't get anything through, I queue another 20 and pray. Or I'll queue up 10-20 images at a time since the images only take a minute to generate. This brute forcing results in me blowing through my daily rate limit in about 10 minutes. It's very frustrating and I'll never subscribe to Grok again if they don't fix this moderation.
