We live walking distance to a historic mansion and the Hudson River so on nice days I’ll walk (mostly carry) my now 23 month old daughter to see the gardens and river.

Yesterday was a nice day so we proceeded to head to the flower gardens; along the way we stopped and talked to an older guy with a doggie on a leash. While at the actual gardens looking into a fountain pool a small husky puppy just walks up to us dragging its leash, I pet it and see the owner looking so I say over here. He tells me the pup is 3 months old; I motion (while pushing jumping pup away from my daughter and say she’s a little afraid. Owner and puppy walk away. Later a full size husky comes up the stairs dragging a leash and starts towards us. I immediately scoop up my daughter and turn myself towards the dog. Along comes the owner and he grabs the dog. I said I like dogs a lot but this is worrisome and nothing else.

moments later, I overheard him saying oh he’s super friendly and loves everyone to a random couple. AITAH here .. it’s a state/national historic park; shouldn’t this guy be watching his dogs? I’m a peaceful man but would do anything to protect my family. I only post as I’m overthinking after the fact. I could've said watch dang your dog but I didn’t. The gardens were lovely :)

I have a lone street light that gives a pink glow

hi all, I’ve mostly owned VW’s for over twenty years but am looking to get a van for the family. I like to buy a decent, low mileage example for cash then drive for a few years and sell. I can diy a lot of car stuff.. currently looking at a 2015 with 95k on it. owner just had an o2 replaced and the water pump/timing down at 84.3k.

she’s asking 13.5k, had her get some undercarriage pics .. looks mostly like surface rust. I live in the hudson valley so I am used to that. current car is 2013 beetle with 105k and 2018 Tiguan limited with 95k. looking to have a three car deal.. any big concerns with this purchase ?
