Is Anthbot an honest company?

Anthbot Promised an M9. Seventeen Days Later, They Still Refuse to Send It.

On July 20, Anthbot announced that I had won an Anthbot M9 in their giveaway. I was genuinely excited. I already own their Genie 3000, and despite its quirks, it’s the first robot mower I’ve had that actually performs well. Winning the M9 felt like a chance to upgrade and see Anthbot prove they could stand behind their products.

Seventeen days later, that excitement has turned into frustration.

Anthbot still refuses to mail the machine. Their explanation is simple and unbelievable: they don’t have any units to send. That raises a question any reasonable person would ask. Why would a company host a giveaway for a product they don’t have in stock? Why advertise a prize they cannot fulfill? Why make promises they cannot keep?

These aren’t small issues. They speak to the core of how a company treats its customers.

A Giveaway Without a Prize

A giveaway is a contract of trust. A company says, “We will give this item away,” and participants enter under the assumption that the company actually possesses the item. When Anthbot claims they have no M9 units available, it undermines the entire premise of the giveaway. It suggests poor planning at best, and deceptive marketing at worst.

If a company cannot fulfill a basic promotional promise, how can customers trust them with anything more serious - like warranties, repairs, or long‑term support?

Excuses Instead of Accountability

Anthbot’s communication has been slow, inconsistent, and evasive. Instead of providing a clear timeline, they offer excuses. Instead of honoring their commitment, they stall. Instead of taking responsibility, they deflect.

This behavior raises serious concerns about their reliability and their respect for customers who expect straightforward, honest treatment.

Is This a Company You Should Trust?

A company that cannot deliver a giveaway prize is a company that may struggle to deliver anything. A company that makes promises it cannot keep is a company that risks misleading its customers. And a company that treats its customers this way deserves scrutiny.

Consumers deserve honesty. They deserve reliability. They deserve companies that fulfill their obligations without excuses or delays.

Right now, Anthbot is failing on all three.

Until they correct this behavior, people should think carefully before doing business with them. A company that cannot honor its own giveaway is not a company anyone should trust with their money, their lawn, or their peace of mind.

Winning

I can hardly believe I won an Anthbot M9 on Monday July 20. The moment I found out, I felt like I had just unlocked a whole new level of luck. I have been thrilled ever since. It has been sixteen days now, and the machine still has not shipped, but my excitement has not faded at all. If anything, it keeps building.

Every day I imagine what it will be like when I finally get a tracking number. I know I will feel a rush of energy the second I see that first update. I will probably check the tracking page ten times a day. I will picture the box moving from one facility to another. I will picture the mower sitting inside the packaging, waiting for me to open it and put it to work.

I am already planning the first run. I can see it rolling across my yard with confidence. I can see the blades spinning. I can see the map filling in as it learns the space. I have waited sixteen days, but the excitement has not slowed down. I am still thrilled that I won it, and I know I will be even more excited the moment that tracking number finally appears.

What a great day!

I won an Anthbot M9 ??? Where is it?

Question for r/ANTHBOTglobal: Was this Anthbot M9 “giveaway” legitimate, or just data harvesting?

I want to ask the r/ANTHBOTglobal community and any Anthbot representatives a very direct question about a recent “giveaway” on this subreddit.

A few days ago, I entered a contest here where the advertised prize was an Anthbot M9 robotic lawn mower. I was later informed that I had won. As part of the winner verification/fulfillment process, I was instructed to provide my full name, mailing address, and telephone number so the prize could be shipped.

I followed the instructions exactly and submitted my information as requested.

Since then, it has been five days, and the following has happened:

  • I have received no confirmation email, DM, or message from Anthbot or from the contest organizers acknowledging receipt of my information or giving any estimated shipping date.
  • None of the moderators of r/ANTHBOTglobal have responded to my follow up messages asking for an update or clarification.
  • I have checked with UPS, FedEx, and USPS, and there is no shipment in transit to my address for an Anthbot product or any similar large parcel.

Given that the Anthbot M9 is a high value product and is actively marketed on Anthbot’s official channels, this lack of communication and the absence of any visible shipping activity are very unusual for a legitimate prize fulfillment.

Because of this, I’m now seriously concerned that:

  • The announcement that I “won” may have been used primarily as a way to collect my personal information.
  • My full name, address, and phone number may have been harvested under the guise of a giveaway, with no real intention to send the prize.

I want to be clear: I’m not making wild accusations. I’m describing exactly what happened, and I’m asking for transparent answers.

Questions for Anthbot and the subreddit moderators

  1. Was this giveaway officially authorized and sponsored by Anthbot, or was it organized only by subreddit moderators without brand oversight?
  2. Have any winners of Anthbot giveaways on r/ANTHBOTglobal actually received their prizes?
  3. What is the documented process for prize confirmation and shipping (timelines, communication, tracking)?
  4. If this promotion did not follow Anthbot’s or Reddit’s guidelines for running promotions, what steps will be taken to protect users whose personal data was collected?

Reddit’s own guidance for running promotions stresses having clear rules, transparent procedures, and avoiding misleading or deceptive claims about winnings. Right now, my experience does not match those standards.

Why I’m posting this here

I’m posting directly in r/ANTHBOTglobal because:

  • This is where the giveaway took place.
  • This is where the moderators and any official Anthbot representatives should be able to respond publicly.
  • Other users here deserve to know whether giveaways and contests on this subreddit are being run in a way that protects their personal information and complies with Reddit’s promotion rules.

If this was a legitimate contest and there was simply a breakdown in communication or fulfillment, I’m open to that explanation, but I need to see clear evidence (confirmation, tracking, and a timeline) and I think other participants deserve the same.

If anyone else here has entered similar giveaways on r/ANTHBOTglobal, especially those offering an Anthbot M9 or other high value devices, I’d appreciate hearing whether you received your prize, or if you also experienced silence after handing over your personal information.

I Love the Anthbot Genie 3000 With Caveats

The Anthbot Genie 3000 has earned a real place in my lawn care setup. This robot mower actually performs exceptionally well in a yard full of trees. My front lawn has sixteen trees packed into about 5,000 square feet, and the Genie 3000 handles that environment with surprising confidence. It navigates cleanly, keeps its map stable, and moves through tight spaces without getting confused.

That said, loving a machine does not mean pretending it has no flaws.

Water can interfere with its ability to recharge. A little moisture on the charging contacts is enough to make the mower think it is not docked correctly. The fix is simple. Wipe the contacts and the dock plate with a dry cloth and it returns to normal. It is not a major issue, but it is something you only learn through ownership.

Parts availability is a bigger concern. A mower this capable should come with a clear parts list, especially for items that wear out or are known weak points. My Genie 3000 uses rubber grommets to secure the exoskeleton to the main body. One of those grommets failed within the first month. Getting a replacement has already turned into a challenge, and that should not be happening this early in ownership.

The mower itself is strong. The support system around it is not.

I still love the Anthbot Genie 3000. It is fast, clever, and genuinely effective in tree‑heavy yards. It deserves better documentation, better access to replacement parts, and a smoother way to get the small components that keep it running. If Anthbot improves those areas, the Genie 3000 will not only be a great mower. It will be a reliable long‑term one.

Pitch In My Yard – ANTHBOT Genie 3000 in Texas Heat

I’m in Central Texas, where the sun gets so mean it’ll scorch the back hair clean off a horned toad and leave a jackalope begging for shade. My lawn is tended by the Anthbot Genie 3000, a little robot with five razor blades sharper than a rattlesnake’s attitude. It cruises around like it owns the place, trimming my grass so smooth you could eat brisket off it. The future ain’t coming, it's already in my yard.

Anthbot Support Does Not Want to Help You

If you ever contact Anthbot support, you will notice something immediately: the very first words they say are “Take a picture.” Before you can even explain the issue, before they ask what the problem is, they demand a photo. The second thing they ask is, “Where did you buy it?” These are not the questions of a company that wants to assist you. These are the questions of a company looking for a way to avoid responsibility.

Anthbot support is not trying to diagnose your problem. They are trying to place blame. Their goal is to push you back onto the seller, no matter what the issue is, no matter how new the machine is, and no matter how clearly the problem is a manufacturing defect. They treat every customer as if the real issue is not the mower, but the fact that you bought it from the “wrong” place.

In the United States, this is not how warranties work. When you buy a product, it comes with a manufacturer’s warranty. That warranty is tied to the product itself, not the store you purchased it from. If a machine is defective, the manufacturer is responsible for helping you, regardless of whether you bought it from Amazon, eBay, a third‑party seller, or a brick‑and‑mortar store. That is the standard. That is the expectation. That is the law in many cases.

Anthbot does not follow that standard. Instead, they behave like a reseller trying to dodge accountability. They do not act like a manufacturer standing behind their product. They do not troubleshoot. They do not guide you. They do not take ownership. They simply repeat the same script: take a picture, tell us where you bought it, and then go talk to the seller.

This is not support. This is deflection.

Consumers deserve better. If a company wants to sell products in the United States, they should honor the basic principles of customer service and warranty responsibility. Anthbot chooses not to. And until they change their approach, customers should understand exactly what they are walking into: a company that does not want to help you and does not stock replacement parts.
