Saw some post few weeks ago about wear on rear axis. Today when doing the maintainance see then same thing on my unit.
It's been operating since Late June 2026
Anyone got tips/solutions to stop it going any worse?

As seen in the photo, we have stepping stones in our yard. They're flush with the base of the grass - easy to walk or mow across.
But it just will not.
If I tell it to cancel and go back to the base station it immediately drives right over the top of them without issue. Any solns for this?
Any suggestions on fixing this map? Maybe I set it up incorrectly using Zones instead of boundaries. If I want to mow Lawn 4 my i210 lidar pro will follow the patch from charging station to Lawn 1 then 2 then 3 before starting on Lawn 4. Loosing quite a bit of range when mowing as it returns home to charge almost once per lawn.
I’ve been using my LUBA 1 for a few years, and tbh, I’ve always been happy with the cut quality. I sent it back for repairs twice but overall it does a decent job.
The recent Removal of Multi-point Turn got me hesitant to stay with mammotion. Even though they just re-added the multi-turn in the newest update but from my own experience and what I’m seeing in the Mammotion community, the update still hasn’t really fixed the issue.
Right now I’m leaning more toward the X430. Because my lawn has a few soft, damp spots and some thinner grass in shaded areas, so how a mower turns matters quite a bit to me. I’ve watched a bunch of X430 videos, and the front-wheel steering looks much gentler on the turf than what I’m used to seeing from my LUBA.
Anyone here own both a LUBA and an X430? Is the X430 really that much easier on softer grass when turning? And how do you feel about the cut quality compared with the LUBA?
Would love to hear some real-world experience. A lot of thanks in advance.
This is our second year with the Navimow i110N. About two months ago, I 3D printed a disc where I could put 6 blades on it vs the normal 3. It increased the sound slightly but it definitely made a positive difference cutting the lawn. But today, I noticed some grass that was getting missed and it’s back to sounding like it did with the 3 blades. I flipped it over and cleaned it out and it seems like the disc is spinning freely, but not sure if there is any other way to test if it’s spinning okay or not. And it’s still cutting the lawn, just not as well. Just wondering if anyone has seen anything similar. Thanks in advance! 🙏🏻
I have the x430 mower and it is scheduled to mow every day at 4:00 pm. It has been doing a great job following the schedule for 4 months . The last two weeks it has decided to change the mowing time to start at 5:30pm. I have looked at the time the mower has as its set time. The time zone is also correct. I have toggled the setting on and off but it still wants to mow at 5:30. I do understand that it’s using military time so I have it set to 1600 which is 4:00 pm my time zone. Has anyone experienced this with their scheduled mow? If so, were you able to solve this issue? Any help would be appreciated.
I just picked up the X430 to replace my Luba 1 a couple weeks ago and i'm glad i did that after seeing what just happened with those firmware updates released by mammotion.
For x430, the setup and mapping is easier and btw it's way bigger than what I expected. Fortunately i don't have to move it back to station myself lol.
Another thing I noticed was speed. My yard's about 1 acre and the Luba used to take basically the whole day. X430 does it in about 2/3 of that. One reason I guess, is how it turns around with the front wheel steering. What also makes me surprised is how quiet when it's mowing. I can barely hear it from inside the house.
Still have to cut with my trimmer for the edges though and I do it once a week. Tbh, every robot mower has that problem so I'm ok with it. So yeah, I'm still keeping the Luba as a backup but the X430 is taking over for now.
Hi. I'd like to know whether a no-go zone can be too small for the mower to recognize. I'm mapping a few small things in my yard, like trees, a narrow flower bed, and some low garden lights. I drew the no-go zones pretty close to the obstacles because I don't want to waste mowing space. But I also worry that a slight positioning shift while running could make the mower drift into it and hit the obstacle.
What minimum size has worked well for no-go zones? Also, how much extra space do you leave around obstacles? Thanks for any insights!
I added a pair of Browning 40 calibers (3d printed from a half ass design I made in cad). Should keep the baddies away.
I was looking at the x430 or x450 and was wondering if anyone has had issues with the charging station? Does the prong on the charger always work it looks like it might break after many uses but i only see it in videos. Does it get a good connection all the time or do people have trouble with it? I own a Luba 2 right now and it is always giving me issues charging now. Its the reason i am looking at the x4 series that and the turning of the x4 is nice too.
Also do you get a long cord for the power and rtk if you want/need to use the RTK antenna? Any useful information or troubles you have had to think about before buying?
Is it possible to have the X 430 Back up another 6 inches before turning? My issue is due to the fact it does not mow round it’s base I’m trying to block grass from underneath and doing so I also made a garage to go over and it just does not clear of the length of the machine. I’ve looked all through the app cannot find anything that addresses this and is wondering if anybody out there has the same issue

Across the two sessions, Pest and Lawn Ginja (u/GinjaHQ) and HandyDadTV (u/cheider) shared practical tips based on their own lawn-care experience and time using Navimow across different yard sizes, grass types, layouts, and terrain.
We pulled together some of the most useful takeaways below. As always, every lawn is different, so think of these as practical starting points rather than universal settings.
A lot of the discussion came back to one question: how do you get the mower and the lawn working together?
A few useful takeaways from our experts:
The common theme: robotic mowing works best as frequent maintenance, rather than waiting for the lawn to become tall and removing a large amount at once.
Complex yards don't always need complex maps.
And for difficult inside corners or flush lawn-to-pavement transitions, manually refining the boundary and using Ride-on Boundary where appropriate may help improve coverage.
Obstacle handling was another major topic, especially around tall weeds, natural lawns, recurring trouble spots, and VisionFence-off zones.
Based on Pest and Lawn Ginja's experience, the mower appears to make obstacle decisions dynamically during a mowing session and may revisit an area when conditions change. However, he has not seen clear evidence that it permanently learns every recurring trouble spot across future mowing sessions.
For areas that repeatedly create problems, the practical fixes are still usually:
It's also worth remembering that turning VisionFence off doesn't necessarily mean the mower stops sensing everything around it. Other sensors can still influence how the mower reacts to tall or unusual vegetation, depending on the model.
There isn't one universal setting for fall leaves.
HandyDadTV generally prefers collecting leaves rather than mulching them, but suggested that users who want to experiment can test different obstacle-avoidance settings based on their own lawn conditions.
One important caution: reducing obstacle avoidance around leaves may also make it easier for the mower to encounter things hidden underneath them, such as branches, rocks, toys, or other objects.
So if you're experimenting with fall-leaf mowing, check the area first and adjust settings carefully.
Small setup details can sometimes solve surprisingly frustrating problems.
A better robotic-mowing experience isn't only about changing mower settings. Sometimes the best fix is changing the mowing schedule, simplifying the map, or making a small improvement to the lawn itself.

I posted not too long ago about uneven stripes in my tall fescue with the x430.
With the recent update for even pattern mowing, it took about two additional mows before it started giving me even stripes.
What are everyone else’s experiences?
Do you ever notice or take note of the individuals who stop by your house to record or take pictures of your robotic mower? I have security cameras that track the robotic mower around my house. The cameras will Face ID individuals.
I was in the house watching my cameras. You know, MONITORING my robotic mower like a responsible owner. One guy stopped by to record the X430 as it departed the front lawn via a sidewalk that passes in front of our driveway. The X430 drove past my wife's two cars that were parked in the driveway. Then the mower swung a right turn up a 3.5 ft wide by 20 ft long path on the side of the driveway so it could enter the gate for the backyard.
I could hear the guy asking a female neighbor from across the street about the X430 robotic mower. My neighbor just shrugged because women don't care about robotic mowers. She's actually the person who mows their lawn. The guy told her, it just finished mowing and now it's headed to the backyard. Then he talked about having a robotic vacuum, but didn't know robotic mowers were a thing.
Well... SURPRISE! Robotic vacuums are nowhere close to a robotic mower.

It's obvious to me that Segway Navimow chose speed over providing a consistent cut. I will send the X430 out to mow. Then I'm like damn, the mower has already finished mowing the back lawn. I go outside to inspect my lawn. All the missed blades of grass that were not mowed is very apparent. There are rhizomatous turf type tall fescue grass blades that were pushed over and growing longer by the day. I'm like yeah, let's try this again in a different direction. It's a bit better after a second mow. I typically just grab my Milwaukee reciprocating attachment to clean up all the missed or pushed over blades of grass and send the mower back to the dock. If you want something done right, just do it yourself.
The engineers prioritized SPEED over a consistent cut. I think consumers would prefer a highly consistent cut over speed any day of the week. Prove me wrong.
Does anyone else feel like Segway Navimow is kind of slow rolling updates or maybe incapable of programming the minor things we requested?
The X430 was released in spring of 2026. So you're telling me they're incapable of making the X430 mow in an opposite perimeter mowing direction until 2027? 🙄
I'm also trying to understand why buyers of their mowers in Europe do not understand how the tech playbook works. If you didn't purchase their flagship model, they're not going to give you the same features and updates as an X430. Tech has always been a pay to play system. You purchased a lower tier model because you obviously didn't have a need for all the features on an X430. Chances are highly likely your lower tier model's hardware cannot support the features of say an X430.
I installed the fence gate on a picket fence today. I found the installation instructions to be lacking at best. Maybe I'm missing the actual instructions as I only have a pamphlet titled Quick Start Guide. I looked on line and found nothing better. Initially I was looking at parts that I had no idea of their purpose. Fortunately I found a video that shows installation on multiple fence types and I now see that the extra parts are for a chain link fence. The instructions tell me to drill holes, but do not recommend a drill size. The small screws that go into the holes to attach the brackets on the side and top of the gate do not go in very easily. I took my time as cross threading seemed to be a distinct possibility. I've found myself basically rebuilding this section of picket fence around the gate. Cutting the picket fence for the gate, leaves the pickets above the gate very poorly supported. I've added an additional cross member 2X4 above the gate which will support both the pickets and gate. The bolts they give you for the brackets do not work if any of them have to pass through a 2X4 and a picket. I wasn't able to find similar bolts that worked but I did eventually find some that were different but accomplished the task with a few washers.
I have the gate working now and it seems to be letting the X430 in and out like it is supposed to. Admittedly I'm not the most handy guy, but I more than get by. I think the instructions should be more detailed and the bolts provided should take in account the potential of passing through a 2x4 and the fence picket.
There are a bunch of tech illiterate people who think you can just go away on trips and a robotic mower will not have any issues. News Flash: Your cheap $800-$2.4K robotic mower isn't perfect. Hell, there are multimillion dollar unmanned vehicles that throw far less error codes than a cheap robotic mower. Yet, these military vehicles have to still be monitored by the armed forces. I'm trying to understand why civilians think you don't have to monitor your robotic mower when it's actually mowing. You're asking for a situation to occur where someone is hurt so they issue restrictions on these robotic mowers due to your ineptitude. It's coming....
**In the off chance this isn't just rage bait..they're probably finishing shipping code this quarter for what will be manufactured q4/q1 for delivery to customers for spring. Then they'l have time to do patches and updates for what's in the field today in the backlog. How long do you think it takes to ship code that's been fully tested on physical hardware? as a customer of a flagship mode would want fully tested updates so we don't get shit like leaving the ToF sensor on in the charging dock again.**
They obviously didn't do any testing to see that the ToF sensor was staying on at night. You give them too much credit. I highly doubt they're testing anything, otherwise they would know the mower will miss blades of grass or just push them over.
