Best games that are almost soulslikes?

I feel like I've exhausted the list of good "true" soulslikes, but I've recently really enjoyed stellar blade and the Nier games. I was wondering if there are any other ARPGs that have a similar feel without being actually soulslikes that y'all have enjoyed.

I just started the demo today and love it so far, but...

Holy is the first boss so overturned. Even just his first phase alone felt too difficult for a first boss. Throw in the second phase and he took me two less tries than mallenia. I understand that part of his difficulty comes from having to learn to play in first person instead of third, but that's still unjustifiably difficult imo. Maybe it's just something about me, but he felt wayy too hard to me. I have beaten him now, but it felt more like a relief than a satisfaction.

Games like Another Crab's Treasure?

I loved ACT and I was simply wondering if there's anything else out there like it. Just a more lighthearted soulslike. Or even something that's not quite a soulslike but gives a similar feel.

How have I not heard of motemancer before???

I just bought Motemancer which is a 2D top-down factory game similar to Facyorio, but rather than being engineering themed, it's alchemical and magic themed. Furthermore, it's on a hex-grid which actually changes the game A LOT. I'm not very far into it, but I foresee myself sinking many many hours into this game and I cannot recommend it enough. On top of all that, it's got a super active dev who is extremely active on the game's discord server AND it has a free demo on steam. I don't know how no one is taking about it.

Factory game recommendation

Hello, I'm looking for a recommendation in the factory/automation subgenre. I loved Satisfactory, Factorio, and Foundry, but found that DSP and Techtonica didn't quite click for me. I'm not sure why to be honest. But I'm mostly curious if anyone has any underrated gems for me to try out! I'm always looking for more games in this genre

Edit: I'm also happy to try out base building games without a focus on automation, but I do want something with more clear goals. Timberborn felt too aimless to me unfortunately

Shout-out to Foundry

I just wanted to give a quick shout out to the Paradox game, Foundry. It's honestly my second favorite factory game after Factorio so far and it's still getting plenty of updates. For those of you who may not know, it's basically Factorio in a voxel 3 dimensional, terraformable world. It usually gets compared to satisfactory since they're both 3D, but the gameplay is honestly a lot more like Factorio than Satisfactory imo(the existence of something like inserters and science packs being the two biggest things). Overall, I don't hear this game talked about nearly enough and I cannot recommend it enough to fans of the genre!
