I’m up and coming to be a snake dad!
I currently have a bearded dragon, so I know all about desert terrain!
But I need help with this. I have a 40 gallon glass tank for the ball python, dome/light recommendation, need-to-knows for beginners.
This is the only place I’m seeing this. What is this?
Noticed my beardie was lethargic, he hadn’t moved from one spot for 3 (!) days. I let him be because he sometimes has brumation but this is not usually the time he goes in.
I soaked him in his bath, massaged his stomach, and I lifted his tail to check his pores/scales when I noticed…
SPERM PLUG!!! Absolutely HUGE!! It looks like during his last poo there was some caught under the flap spot (idk the real word for it) and it got lodged with the plug.
I didn’t take a photo but I swear it was the length of my pinky finger. Right after I removed it, this man took a big dump
