At what point????

I feel like I post here a decent amount.

I’m tired. I’m now CD1 after IUI #4 and this is by far the most exhausting season of my life. The amount of people surrounding me “good things take time”. Mother fucker.

I will say, I’m thankful for my husband being who he is because he wasn’t able to be here for the first 3 IUI due to military stuff, but was here for the entirety of cycle 4 and I asked him yesterday “Do you understand now how tiring it is to have a positive outlook on everything with this and just get nothing?”

I’m currently on a list waiting to be “considered” for IVF being covered by the VA (I’m a disabled veteran) and I’m just mentally exhausted at this point.

I know I’m just complaining this whole post, I’m sorry at this point I just need to vent. At what point does it get easier?

First day

Hi all, not really sure how to word this. I’ve been in “normal” therapy on and off since 2018. Today I’m officially starting EMDR. I am nervous and anxious. I often struggle mentally and think I’m broken beyond repair. One of the only saving grace’s I have is a loving husband who will constantly attempt to help me work through mental shut downs.

I am doing EMDR through the VA I’m curious if anyone else has? I’m 30F disabled veteran. My husband is active duty still so if I hate the VA I could look into tricare.

I’m trying to go into this with a neutral mindset. My husband has agreed to drive me today due to it being an hour away and I’m anxious it’ll trigger me.

Looking for anyone who has been through a “similar” experience. Thanks 💕

Third times (hopefully) the charm???? IUI #3 August 19

Title says it all, I’m about to have IUI #3 Wednesday. This one as well as my 2 previous I’ve used frozen due to my husband being deployed.

This shit is so exhausting.

If this cycle fails we will be using fresh for IUI #4 and unfortunately will have to have a discussion about switching to IVF.

Anyone else having IUI On August 19?

I need to vent before I lose my mind.

My husband (32M) and I (30F) just hit 1 yr TTC. I’ve gone through 2 IUI’s after discovering I have PMOS, I am taking Letrozole and get trigger shots. My husband is active duty and deployed, recently I have started to talk to/become friends with other spouses from his boat. One spouse in particular said she was also going through fertility issues and I gave her MULTIPLE insights on things such as HSG and IUI. She asked me yesterday “Can I come over I’m bored” I said absolutely because I enjoy company and not being alone helps me just reset myself.

She came over, she has not started ANY treatment or even gone through an IUI cycle, she came over WITHOUT MENTIONING SHE HAS NEWS, puts her hand in a fist and I see the cap of a pregnancy test and I was like “what is this?” She said “just look, pull it” and I pulled it. She was so proud of herself. It literally hit me so fucking hard. I didn’t react. I just responded “oh…cool” face to face. She then proceeded to show me an app that shows the size of her baby currently. Mind you she found out THAT DAY.

I’m genuinely so disheartened over this. I just needed to vent. Onto IUI #3. I’m sorry if this isn’t the place or way to go about it but it’s been over 24 hr since this happened and I’m still just upset.

IUI #2

IUI #2 is scheduled for July 21, feeling (slightly) more hopeful this month. 💗

Last month’s scan: CD13 (IUI #1)

Endometrium: 5.3 mm
Right follicles 8, 8, 6 mm
Left follicles 19, 9 mm

Today’s scan: CD16 (IUI #2)

Endometrium: 6.5 mm
Right follicles 17, 5 mm
Left follicles 16, 12, 11 mm

Trigger shot on Sunday, my apps show I’m supposed to ovulate Tuesday. My clinic warned me about a possibility of multiples which I am okay with and would be over the moon. Send good vibes, positive thoughts and all baby dust please. 😭🥺

TWW

Did anyone else have an IUI 6/21? I’m losing my mind and it hasn’t even been a week. What are we doing to distract ourselves? My husband is gone for work until September and we have no way of being able to speak 😵‍💫

First IUI

Hi ladies,
I’m (30F) scheduled for my first IUI Sunday (6/21) I have PMOS and have done two cycles of Letrozole 5 mg, CD 3-7. I had an US Monday (6/15) my results were: Right follicles 10 mm
Left follicles 11 mm
Endometrium 3.6 mm

Today (6/18) I had my second US and my results were:

Right follicles 8, 8, 6 mm
Left follicles 19, 9 mm
Endometrium: 5.3 mm
Endometrium Type: trilaminar

We are using cryopreserved sperm from my husband (31M) (he’s deployed) his sperm motility was 52. Motility post thaw 41. We have 4 popsicles (it’s been our thing calling them this)

Total Sperm Cryopreserved
mil sperm
59.400

Tot Motile Sperm Cryopreserved
mil mot sperm
24.354

Give me the goods, bads, uglies I had an awful experience with HSG (5/12) due to it being at UW and the student not putting the cath in correctly and having to have the actual tech take over. I’m really hoping this works out if not I guess we will have to try again next month. We’ve been TTC for almost a year at this point.

Genuine question

My husband and I have been TTC for 10 months and nothing was working(all of his labs came back perfect and the VA took forever to listen to me ask for help). 10 years ago I was on birth control pills, which ended up with me having a blood clot. Since then, I am never allowed to be on birth control pills again for the safety side of things. I understand birth control is one of (if not the only way) to control things, I was also unaware I have PMOS until a month ago when we went to our first fertility appt and they officially diagnosed me with it.

I just finished my second cycle of Letrozole (5mg) and I will be doing my first IUI with a cryopreservation sample from my husband, because he is not able to be here right now. Say IUI doesn’t work is there anything that anyone has done any situation similar to mine and then as far as weight loss I have been on metformin before and it made me violently ill and unable to eat anything for two days straight.

I understand that I used a lot of description but I’m unsure what to do. I figured reaching out to people and seeing if anyone else has gone to a situation like this to see if anyone has any sort of advice

Please be nice I’m brand new to PMOS (30f) 🫣

Does anyone have insight on possibly getting EMDR therapy covered through the VA? I have recently started therapy back up, am service connected for mental health and have an assumable C-PTSD diagnosis via my therapist. EMDR is super expensive and I would much rather not pay out of pocket ($160+ a session). For context I am located in PNW and use puget sound VA system. Thank you for any and all help!
