My first expensive mountain bike

2012 DIY build. Parts sourced from LBS, Togoparts and SMBF the carousell equivalent for bicycle parts and bicycles. Pain stakingly build by myself. With info from YouTube and internet i learnt how to tune, install on my own.Sold in 2017. Bought Frame used from SMBF SG( Sg mtb forums) Brakeset installed by LBS ( L&T CYCLE)

Frame : SPECIALIZED SWORKs M5 (Alloy) Wheelset: Fulcrum red metal 5 with bladed spokes. Costs about 300+ new from integrated riding changi road XTR shifters Deore XT Brakeset SLX Crankset ROCK SHOX SID RACE forks Ritchey headset

Weights about 12kg

What's the best upgrades to reduce weight?

Currently at 11.5kg. Looking to drop another kilo to 10.5kg just to make myself happy. Don't tell me to lose my body weight please.

Im also looking to upgrade to magura mt 8 SL. Is it worth it?

Bike is Trek procaliber 9.6 Gen 3.

Mountain Bike malfunction midway

Its 1am, You are far from home > 20km

You either got a puncture, chain snapped.

You did not bring any tools or spare tubes with you so u cant do on the road repair.

U dont have a firend, family that is able to pick u up with ur bike home.

PHV dont accept big sized mountain bikes

What do u do in this case?

How do I use wired headphones without having to keep on enabling OTG in the settings? It auto disable after sometime without any OTG connected. Help!

Buying durians home without own vehicle

For those without personal vehicle, How do u guys buy durians home?

Argued with RYDE driver today. Already indicate im having durians with me, pls cancel if u cant accept durians in your car.

There's no rule saying no durians in PHV but only public transport
