I'm scanning film found in old boxes. As a kid, I played with my camera and took a lot of random shots. But I think this one stands out. I barely processed it, especially without removing scratches or noise. I think that gives the photo character.

This is a building currently undergoing renovation on Dobryninskaya Square. It is draped in banners designed to serve as a dust screen, preventing debris from drifting out onto the street. The installation recreates the "trace"—or "shadow"—of a propaganda structure that once adorned this very building during the Soviet era.
