Everything about Homelander in episode 3 of season 5 is perfect, this is the definitive version of this character. His entire arc led up to this moment, a deranged monster with no moral compass, smiling, sinister, but in episode 4 he simply went back to being a parody who’s only there to be humiliated, even if it makes no sense at all. They’ve robbed us.
He's just a chill guy trying to achieve his goal and save the day, but every two steps he takes, someone shows up to beat him up, and what's even funnier is that he never strikes first
It amazes me how most people who watch this show simply hate it, they hate the stories, the concepts, the characters, absolutely everything about it. But instead of accepting that this show isn’t for everyone, they keep watching it solely to hate on it and want everything in the series to change to suit their own tastes. They say the answers never come, but they ignore them when they do, they say no one communicates after numerous scenes where the characters are communicating, and so on, not to mention that they openly admit to SKIPPING scenes featuring characters they don’t like. The audience for this series is awful, I’ve never seen anything like it.
