I’m halfway through season two, and I’m sure a lot of you have gotten to the end, but PLEASE can someone fire Dr Santos? or something?? I cannot stand her. She is a ridiculous human being. Is someone gonna do something about her? Does she get called down? I hate her so much.

Do people have other views of her that I’m not seeing?

I started Assassin Creed games last year with Odyssey, followed by Valhalla, Mirage, and Origins. Some of you have probably read my posts. I’m 69 years old, and I just started playing video games. I’m a retired history teacher so AC games were compelling.
The only other ones I played were Hogwarts legacy and Super Mario back in the 90s with my four year son.

Anyway, I was hesitant to play Black Flag because of the naval battles because I did not like them in Odyssey. But man, this game is so much fun!

A few random thoughts:

1. No snakes! 🐍 I cannot tell you how that makes me so happy.
2. No claustrophobic tombs or inside of pyramids.
3. You don’t have to pick outfits based on perks, just wear what you want!
4. Money really means something. You buy upgrades, necessary weapons, it all really matters. Chests became redundant in some other games. Not here. And chests contained things that you actually want.
5. Nothing is wasted, nothing feels wasteful.
6. I really like Alexios, and I even liked Basim, but Edward is probably the best character I played in any game. And I really loved Alexios! ❤️
7. Finally, I love the naval battles! Granted, I needed to upgrade my ship, but naval battles are so much better than Odyssey. I really love doing them now. I did wait until my

ship was

1. upgraded and then I did all the naval contracts. That was smart for someone like me.

Any other random thoughts about what you like about the game?

I was going for some trophies— the overheated trophy and the black flag trophy where you have to kill 8 sea captains.

So I go into the southern desert, south of Siwa, I spent an hour walking around and walking around and walking around. I saw four different hallucinations and no, I did not see any bugs raining from the sky. I finally had to quit because I had to stop playing for a while. So I gave up.

Then I decided to go for the sea captains and I am on my boat going all around the water, finding ships in the water and killing captains and I have no way to count how many I have? I’m on a PS5. I have no idea if there’s a log somewhere. Anyway, I spent another hour to an hour and a half and never got the trophy. And I lost count.

Anybody have any advice to get these two trophies?
