Considering changing careers

I was contacted by an old acquaintance which had offered me a job with an opportunity for upper mobility within a year and much better benefits. This is my 9th year in education and the desire to move into something else has always been there. Unfortunately, the move will represent a 8k reduction in salary. However, there is availability for bonuses, tuition reimbursement and possible 401k matching. I feel bad doing this to my principal but deep inside I feel disappointed and burn out. Sometimes I feel that it doesn't matter how hard I work to help students there will never be better results but only from those that care because their parents care and they are invested in their education. Just the other day I asked a parent to please talk to her kid about doing a little more effort during class and she just rolled her eyes at me. I had been part of the industry before and I think I will do fine. What should I do?

DFW to FT worth, The NETT or Dallas to Denton

I have heard or read a lot of stories of people taking rides from Dallas to Fort Worth, or Riding the NETT or even a trail that goes from Dallas to Denton. I am new to cycling and mainly had been cycling to commute. However, this three rides seem interesting. Is it recommendable to do them along, if I do, how do I find information about them, like where to start, spots to eat and all things you find necessary to make it an enjoyable ride. On the other hand, are there groups of people that meet and have a bite together in this places. Have any of you done any of these rides, how was it for you. what did you like, what you did not like, what will you do different?

Summer Commute

When is it too hot to ride your bike? This last couples of days had feel really hot. I started a new job and I was planning to commute partially 2 days a week. Basically got myself a foldable bike and will ride about 6 miles in a trail and then get an Uber. Since I knew I would be riding on summer, I purchase cooling visor cap and also a cooling hoodie, I also have a a portable fan that attach to my waist. I plan on having lots of water on my bag, maybe even having a water pouch. The temperatures can get pretty high here, maybe around 90 F to 100F range. The ride is about 6 to 7 miles..Is it not recommendable or is this something you can get use to? Part of the trail is some shade but not that much. My ride will be around 5pm..what are your thoughts?

New Commute on Summer

When is it too hot to ride your bike? I just started a new job and got myself a foldable bike. However is summer where I live, the summer has not even started in full and I feel that is gonna be super hot. I started a new summer job, and two days of the week I was planning on riding my foldable bike thru a trail that is near my job and take Uber at the end of the trail. The reason was because taking the trail will reduce my Uber fair for about $30.00 to $40.00 and also I will skip traffic in the UBER. I do not want to pay 40 or 50 dollars to be stuck in traffic during my ride. If I take the trail I will be saving and also taking the Uber at an area that traffic will be moreless gone. Upright bike, road Bike or hybrid

I commuted to work a couple of times in a mountain bike I purchased from Facebook marketplace. It is decent I like it but I do a long commute with about 10 miles one way and 10 miles back. It has a few hills and sometimes my back and wrist hurt a little. With gas prices going up, Im looking into increasing the times I commute and I would like to ride in something more comfortable and lightweight. I came across bike direct and saw a hybrid call gravity dutch and it looks like an upright bike, is this better?

Do you guys prefer or recommend upright bike, hybrid or road bike?

Speed training bands

Hello fellow karatekas

Has anyone used these bands or knows where I get them.

I live in the US but have never seen the type of bands they are using in these videos. I have used other types of elastic bands but I was just curious if anyone knows where I can order something like the ones used in the video. I had seen them also in JKA videos but have never been able to find them anywhere to order.

I have used bands I think they are a really good resource if used properly. I would just love to get my hands on one like these ones.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Also asi estilo Holanda o Corea.
