This has been my life for the past few months and it's been incredibly healing 🥹 Gosh, I love being an artist

As an artist, weakness ko talaga yung brush pens. When I use it, laging may pencil guidelines underneath haha nakakakaba kasi and it's also hard to control the stroke/lines.

But I wanna be able to draw with it with no guidelines at all so I gave it a shot. In fairness ang fulfilling niya gawin kahit nanginginig ako the whole time hahaha.

I just find drawing/painting food so therapeutic

My ex was with me for the past two conventions I've tabled in and this is the first time in a while that I'm doing it on my own again. On top of heartbreak, I'm also battling depression and anxiety. I almost gave up my slot because I didn't think I had it in me to continue given the state I was in. I'm grateful to my family and friends who encouraged me to still give it a try anyway.

I'm really glad I pushed through because this ended up becoming one of the most memorable

convention experiences I've ever had. I sold out way earlier than I expected (ubos na paninda ko by 3pm and the event ends at like 9pm) and somehow I even ended up winning a cutting machine (Silhouette Curio 2)! Nakakaloka talaga plot twist nung araw na yun, I'm honestly still in shock haha.

I'm not totally okay yet but this experience gives me a glimmer of hope that life is still capable of

surprising me in good ways sometimes.
