How would you deal with steamrolling empires? (i.e. France, Mamluks…)

A recurrent complaint by the community, and one that I find annoying too, is the overpowered big blue blob, as well as the ever strong mamluks. How would you address these in a systematic way? I.e. not so much through scripted events and more so through a system of its own.

I can think of dedicated situations to each one, but that feels like cheating. Existing systems should allow for pressure to put pressure on these countries. Mamluks should see a gradual decay and French should have a real struggle to centralise and exert the power on all French territories.

Malaga returns to the top flight after 8 years. Above all, a huge thank you to the players, to the club behind them and to the fanbase who carried us to glory. Thank you 💙🤍💙

Seeking advice: near-dead sub and competition from local forum

I mod a close to extinction sub for a local second tier football team. Most of the fandom is active on a local forum but I always liked getting news and engaging with people on this platform. So i took over the sub and gave it a make over. But the community is not there.

Im considering automating some news sharing to this sub in the hope it generates traction. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of sub?

Genial! /s
