Anybody else notice that most of the time if you order fresh produce, meat etc from the delivery services like asap, 60sixty, dash , they seem to always send you the sub-par quality products.

For example, I have never recieved nice ripe, red tomatoes from any of these guys. Its always either still greenish or over ripe. Though it makes sense for the business to do this, as it gives them a way to offload the products that are less likely to sell in-store, it is quite frustrating that we pay premium for sub-par products.

And surely this is an instruction from management and not a conscious decision from the pickers/delivery guys.

What do you guys think?

Color me impressed. What started out as a quick look at cloudflare workers capabilities turned into a fun weekend of porting a whole project to cloudflare workers.

Honestly, the cloudflare workers + kv + D1 + hyperdrive (postgres) + pages running sveltekit frontend + better auth + hono rest api is the ultimate stack. Everything just works. And works beautifully! Did I mention everything is free? And they manage all infrastructure apart from my postgres that I run on an oracle ampere instance with 4ocpu and 24gb ram.

Hard to believe that this whole stack costs me exactly $0.00

Yip, $0.00. And will continue to be for the foreseeable future. By the time I start to hit the free tier limits, I would already be making money on apps hosted on this stack. And seeing the ridiculously cheap pricing of cloudflare, $20 will get you insanely far.

If you havent tried cloudflare workers, I implore you to give it a go.

So I see that sveltekit 3.0 is at 100% milestone progress. Excuse my ignorance, but does that mean its ready to be used in production or will an rc be next?

Good day fellow svelte developers. Would any of you be so kind as to guide an old fool through the process of adding and using the svelte mcp server to a sveltekit project in VS Code. a Sample prompt making use of said mcp server would also be highly appreciated.

Although the developers and docs clearly state that $effect should be avoided as far as possible, all the AI's i have consulted for help with svelte functions always flock to $effect as if its standard practice. It is really infuriating. Every time I have to tell it to not use $effect, then it wakes up and gives me a proper solution. Anybody else notice this? Or am I being overly paranoid at using $effect?

For an ai tool that advertises itself as never producing ai slop, it is remarkably good at producing ai slop. Worst $22 i have ever spent. Period! Was hoping this would atleast help me with basic layout ideas etc , but oh boy was i wrong. It delivers the exact same ai crap as all the other ai tools. Sigh...

This is not the number that i want, just an example, but where/how can one register a vanity number? Preferably it should be a voip number with 087 extension.

But since then there has been no service activations or any news. We are a local fibre isp and would like to find out what their plans are. We would like to serve our community but do not want to duplicate infrastructure or incur the cost to do a roll out just to be surprised by herotel.

Any help or contact would be greatly appreciated.

So I am playing WoTH2 of gfn on my 55" tv. The game is awesome. But man am I struggling to make out the teeny tiny text, sound indicators etc on the in-game screen. Even the map is hard to make out some detail. Is it just me getting old and the eyes are going or are these features a bit small for console-like tv play?

To be fair, when I play GFN/WoTH2 on the Meta Quest 3 I dont have the same issues, and WoTH1 on the same tv I dont have any issues. Would love to hear what you guys think.

Awesome game. But I REALLY miss the hunter sense when using my scope. It makes it a bit difficult to keep track of a specific animal especially when using the thermal/NV scopes.

Also, I am using a gamepad and when I leave a area that had sleep/shop etc in the menu and you kept one of the right hand options highlighted, when you leave you cant access the menu on the left (hunting map, exit eyc)

Edit: the trigger button works amazing when in binocular mode to tag a speflcific animal. Game changer for me. Been tracking everything manualy since day one. Thank you

Im looking for a frontend developer to assist me with designing a user interface for an online system. I will be doing the backend, db etc. But frontend design aint my bag baby.

This will be a short term contract. I basically just need the person to design a user interface/experience from a specification document. I will ha dle form submissions, api comms etc.

Been running RD for years. The odd issue here and there but nothing major. Got TB to run simultaneously with RD to test TB. Using nuvio. All I can say that as things stand currently, RD is still far superior. Getting long load times on TB and intermittent buffering. So yeah, TB definitely not there yet in MY experience

EDIT: I have done the speedtest and my best server is ZA. 130Mbps up and down. I have set the cdn manually. Have tried a few of them. Issue remains. The point is, I am not experiencing these issues on RD.

I wont give up on TB yet, but if things dont improve in a few weeks, I wont be renewing.

EDit 2: Changed my torrentio setup to use the connected service feature. Link resolution is MUCH faster. Nearly instant. Will check what the situation is with buffering
