I’m already regretting this Temu purchase however just in case it does have value I wonder if there’s anybody out there who could explain how the four metal strands are secured in place? I’ve been going through the Black & Decker plastic trim line like crazy and thought I would give these metal ones a try.
I’m M, 58 years, 5’9 , 185 pounds, 2.5 years post double lung transplant who hasn’t experienced rejection and in very good health generally.
My doctor has had me on Tacrolimus at 3mg x 2 day with an average score of 13.5 shown after monthly bloodwork.
Recent bloodwork shows Creatinine at 117 (I’m in Canada so I’m not sure if the measuring units are the same) which has been rising consistently month after month.
Finally, my eGFR is 57 which is putting me at risk for kidney disease.
Questions:
For long term stable recipients, what is your average dose of Tacro and bloodwork score?
Has anyone started creeping toward Tacro induced CKD and reversed it?
Other than reducing Tacro did you take any other nutritional/diet measures? Did it help?
