I’ve been working on this for quite a while and wanted to share a progress update.
Simples Pro takes into account all your feedback and requests. Allowing for customisation and flexibility while still maintaining the original design philosophy.
Managed to create a slightly bigger clock and digits have tabulation for clean spacing now. Seconds goes on the right and am/pm on the left. Status icons have shifted to the bottom and have their own menu.
All 4 data slots are customisable, with a choice of 21 data fields.
Colour it your way: Hour, Minute/Seconds, Date weekday, Data Icons, Data Text, Status Icons.
Don’t want the battery green? Make it white, and you still get status changes for low power and charging.

A quick update post to try get some feedback please.
SIMPLES V1.4.0
What's New:
-Refined text rendering for a cleaner on-screen look. Tuned separately for AMOLED and MIP displays.
-Added support for the Forerunner 265s
-Icon balancing
I have refined text rendering with separate profiles for AMOLED and MIP in regards to resolutions and colour. I have been able to test on my AMOLED device, but can only test MIP through the simulators.
So if any MIP users could please let me know if the refinements are a slight improvement over V1.3.0 on MIP devices I would appreciate it.

I feel like lately the group is a lot of image spam from creators with no story to read or journey to keep up with. Full disclosure I’ve made my own watch face, but it’s fun for me and I like to let people know where I’m at with the journey and interact.

Version 1.0.0 – Full Release
Thank you to everyone who tested Simples during the beta period and provided feedback.
This 1.0.0 release expands device compatibility and fixes known issues while maintaining the clean, battery-conscious experience that Simples was built for.

I’m working on my first watch face that will be FREE. Been testing it and running it on my device.
Working on device and language support now. I can’t test language support in the Simulator unfortunately. I want to look at Spanish and French support to start with.
Since my font is a custom-generated bitmap atlas (not the system font), I need to know the exact characters Garmin returns so I can include the right glyphs. An unsupported accented character would just fail to render.
If anyone has a device set to French or Spanish and a few seconds, could you please run this and paste the console output? 🙏🏻

Hey All,
Love my Garmin. I’m working on my first ever watch face idea that will be FREE. Building it with VS Code and Monkey C to make it lightweight and efficient.
I want to make a watch face that is clean, simple and minimalist. Still want to add some small icons on the left and right for things like notifications, alarm, seconds and AM/PM.
Battery icon has multiple states like full (3), medium (2) and low (1), etc.
I’d really appreciate some thoughts and feedback from people in terms of where it’s at so far and what they like in a clean face. But like I said, goal for this face is minimal.
