Looking for black female friendly body positive nudist spaces in DC area or east coast?

Hey! I am in the dc area in my early 30s and I’m just looking to feel more body positive about myself. I’ve been so critical for so long, and I think feeling really comfortable nude around others who aren’t judgmental could be helpful in drowning out so much insecurity. So I’m interested in finding a spa or day kind of event that’s centers on celebrating the skin you’re in. If anyone has recommendations - particularly a Black woman friendly place for this I’d love to know! I’m in DC area so somewhere there or along east coast would be great.

Looking for a MAT Pilates private instructor

Hi everyone! I’m looking to get back into mat Pilates. I used to do it years ago but school went a little crazy and have been out of the game for a while.

I am very injury-averse so I prefer to have 1-2 sessions with a personal instructor who is heavy on checking form, alignment specifically for the classical sequence and making sure every move is exactly right before jumping into group classes with a little less focus. I really want someone who is impeccable about form and minimizing injury.

I am looking for someone who is body positive and is not looking to Pilates as a form of weight loss but body movement.

If anyone has recommendations let me know. It can be in a studio or outdoors or even someone’s apartment/home gym I’m not picky. Preferably someone in DC, MD, or VA that is in a location that is metro accessible.

Start belly dancing with beginner class or private instructor first?

I am a relative beginner to belly dancing, but I have fitness and dance for fun. I really want to lock in to it while I have some free time over the next 6 weeks. I’m stuck between whether an intro class or private teacher is the better way to start. Is it better to start with a few beginner in person class (like 3x a week) and then transition to private lessons (maybe 1-2x a week) or is it better to start with a 1-on-1 class with a belly dancing teacher (again 1-2x a week) and then join beginner classes (3-4x a week)

I’m on summer break so I want to get the most advancement while I have the extra free time available. Curious peoples thoughts!
