Anybody get episodes where you feel lightheaded and like you’re going to pass out if you keep talking. So you have to take shallow breaths and breathe slowly until the feeling passes?

Yesterday I had a normal dinner and an hour later I could barely walk. Went to the emergency because my vision was shifting and felt like I was going to fall over with every step. When I got to the emergency room I was put in a wheelchair and waited an hour to see someone. They checked my vitals and it was all good. After a few more hours the sensation calmed down and all the remained was the room spinning when I moved to fast. Anybody have a similar experience? I’m so done with this fucking disease I don’t know what’s what. I need an MRI or something.

I understand this is a pretty blatant question but I’ve been struggling with long covid and mcas for the last 5 years and have yet to try LDN. Doctors here are reluctant to prescribe it to me(nor are they willing to acknowledge my condition) due to my age.

Have been okay for the past year and a half minus brain fog and anhedonia. But at least there were days where I could forget about it for just a moment. It’s back after being sick for a few days…

I’m about to start a Master in Physics. I need this to go away. My head feels hollow like there is no spark anymore from anything. Has anyone found absolutely anything to help with the anhedonia or brain fog. I know there is LDN but I can’t get it because doctors where I am are very dismissive especially given my age.

For those who got worse with reinfection, was your acute illness the second time round worse/milder/the same as your first acute illness?

Sometimes when I feel like blushing or I need to sweat, it triggers a full body burning sensation that lasts for a few seconds. It’s quite painful but since it’s short lived i can live with it. Haven’t found anything to help it though. It went away for several months and now it’s back

I have this weird symptom that came on last year where my scalp muscle will basically contract in response to loud and sudden noises. First time it happened it scared me and now I got used it. The scalp will contract enough to pull my ears down with it. I’ve been pushing for an MRI for a year now but doctors don’t seem to care and brush it off. It’s a really unusual symptom that I haven’t heard anyone else describe before.

Most of my long covid symptoms are gone apart from this holy trinity. I’ve tried everything and nothing seems to help the brain fog or anhedonia. The swelling comes and goes but never stays gone and it’s mainly my face.

This is kind of specific but I don’t remember being this bad. I mean it takes me way too long to do simple calculations.

I’m 21M and last year I went through a traumatic breakup that honestly changed my brain. For a year I closed off from everything and everyone and only recently started to come out of my shell. Met this girl on hinge and we had a bit of a slow beginning partly because I was still a bit on guard but after a few dates I started to really like her. I admit that we never got to a point where I felt we were truly ourselves because once again I was still on high alert and afraid. Started to feel really happy again and then she hit me with “my hearts not in it” and ended things with me. I didn’t even fight it because I’m exhausted honestly and I respect her for telling me 7 dates in. But fuck me this still hurts so much and it’s unearthing feelings that remind me of the trauma from last year. I fucking hate myself

Like it seems that the muscles especially at the base of my skull behave this way and the effect can be so sudden. As soon as a flare hits I can literally feel those muscles becoming lax.
