I am travelling to Manila for work for 10 weeks from the US. Is it cheaper to buy a Smart e-sim beforehand (while in US) or at the airport once I arrive?

I will have an international roaming plan with my current carrier for 3 days anyway. Any other things to keep in mind are also appreciated. Thanks!
