NY Bar July 2027 🗽

Looking for fellow panyeras or future panyeras who plan to take the New York Bar on July 2027!! Para may karamay, study buddy, and hopefully kahati rin sa rent haha.

Background: I learned from some dual qualified lawyers that our JD in the Philippines already suffices for us to sit for the NY Bar and no need na to take an LLM in the US. I'm still compiling my requirements to be assessed by BOLE if I am eligible. Hopefully may kasama ako in this journey!! ❤️

Take my slot: intro to freediving in Mabini, Batangas this Sat w/ photoshoot

I signed up for this and paid for the intro to free diving (2,700) and transpo (1,400), for a total of ₱4,100.

I've been looking forward to this but I just got my period and currently having period cramps, so i prefer not to proceed with the freediving.

Organizers said they can't refund me but will accept replacement. I can offer a discount. Help a gurlie out please!

Recos in Makati/Taguig for walkability, greenery, and fitness?

Looking for recommendations in Makati or Taguig!

My ideal setup would be:

  • Good gym in the building
  • Walkable area with parks, open spaces, or lots of greenery
  • Close to fitness studios where I can use ClassPass (dance, cycling, Pilates, etc.)
  • Budget is around ₱20k–25k/month for a studio or 1BR

So far, Circuit Makati (like Callisto) and Arca South seem to check a lot of the boxes, but I'm a bit hesitant since both areas still seem to have a lot of ongoing construction. Not sure how they actually feel to live in day to day.

Any other condos or neighborhoods you'd recommend? I'm open to anywhere in Makati or Taguig as long as it's walkable and has a good mix of green spaces and fitness options nearby. I'd also love to hear from anyone who's lived in Circuit or Arca South, how has your experience been? :) Thanks in advance!
