Spicy Peanut Veggies (not photogenic but delicious)

Minimal effort, low cost, and satisfying. Put it all in a bowl with a splash of water and microwave 3ish minutes. Stir all together and adjust according to taste.

Vintage (I think) Corningware

Audibly gasped when I glanced inside an old cardboard box left on the curb. Google lens says they’re authentic for whatever that’s worth 🤷‍♀️. Still they’re pretty and they make me happy to look at them. A few chips on the glass lids but other than that they’re in perfect condition. All pieces except the pie plates have dark ink stamps on the bottom. There are faded stamps on the pie plates.

One month in, 12.5 lbs down.

I have tried counting calories before but the habit never stuck. The difference now is I am taking Vyvanse for ADHD and logging every meal doesn’t feel like a massive chore anymore. MENTAL HEALTH IS EVERYTHING.
I know the first month is mostly water weight, but I’m still proud of the work I’ve done and motivated to keep going.
My Fitbit says I burn an average of 2500 cals a day and I budget for 1800 cals of food.

Baby quilt for my sister’s baby due next week (cat tax included)

Disappearing nine-patch, made with one charm packs of Sweet Citrus by Wilmington Prints and one charm pack of Kona Snow (had to make one block from stash fabric to get a 3x3 block quilt). It stands out a lot to me so I broke that block up into halves to make it less noticeable. Quilted on my home machine, simple design but I love the final texture.

SF Syrups Question

Been using sugar free syrups to reach my hydration goals, which helps keep me from snacking throughout the day.

Can anybody explain why one supposedly requires refrigeration while the other doesn’t? They both have preservatives, and cafes seem to keep their syrups at room temp without problems.

I looked all over the blue bottle and it doesn’t say anything about refrigeration. Do you think the red bottle is just being overly cautious? I’d rather not devote lose fridge space if I don’t have to.
